  1. I like what I’m reading from the last few posts. Pack the house talk! I’m a newcomer here, a fan of only the last 9 years. Living in Texas, where I’ve supported the Dallas Cowboys & University of Texas the last 50 years (believe me, I know what it’s like to hurt, seeing the thing I love go mediocre & stagnant). Some of y’all have been Rovers for 60 years, living within eyeshot of Ewood. So, I can’t criticize. I was afraid our fans had lost the ability to think about the future, and were basically relegated to the position of club historians. Not so, Rovers have a future to get excited about, and that passion is showing. Its a great club, it’s the only Blackburn Rovers we will ever have. Just tell your friends and neighbors, people that haven’t been to Ewood in years, we have a club worth supporting.
  2. Mowbray looks more elated at defeat than Gally does at victory 😂
  3. Hello, top of the table! Thanks to team, jdt & staff, all have put in 100% today!
  4. C’mon, lads, clean sheet 🙏
  5. Brereton has played a full 90, no problem with him
  6. Dolan, Phillips, & Adam sub, plz
  7. HA, not quite as rough as that 😆
  8. Szmodics needs to be taken out, and Morton too. Both with yellows
  9. Rovers fought off some tough attempts. Great defending.
  10. Agreed. I don’t think the quality dips, either
  11. One minute added. HT no gripes, I take back my earlier crabby sentiment about poor passing.
  12. “A moment of high quality from Ben Brereton-Diaz…” beautiful shot
  13. Too much piddling around the back. Then, punt to nobody. Unsettling
  14. Again, we cannot seem to put two passes together
  15. Away end nearly outnumbers all our fans
  16. Interesting lineup. I wish Garrett much success!
  17. If I had to say there’s been a difference in TM’s and jdt’s Rovers, under jdt we haven’t conceded in added time. That was a big issue under Tony, as we regularly gave the opposition a gift in 90+3 or after. Rovers currently 5th on the table, and Sunderland 9th. Tony appears to have given some mid table stability to Sund, while jdt appears to have Rovers poised to make a serious playoff run (at last!) Rovers have 5 wins and two loses at home. Rovers have three clean sheets, and have scored 12 goals, while conceding six. On the negative side, our two losses at Ewood have been to Stoke & BristolC, no explanation for those. This game may be closer than we want to think, but Rovers need to win home games vs clubs lower on the table, if we are to be a serious playoff contending team. Travis’ loss not devastating, if a young player steps up, it should be negligible. I will say 2-1, good guys.
  18. Whew. I didn’t figure there’s any way we would get all three points today. Great job guys
  19. Travis’ performances have been really off lately, but with him off the pitch that really leaves us short in midfield.
