  1. He certainly has a short memory. Also, I never liked people who want luck, or a break. They rely on others to do their work for them, instead of being organized, and have the team prepared for the opportunity when it comes. That’s our boy Tony.
  2. I agree on all three (if fit), and particularly, Vale. Play the academy lads. I could take their mistakes, a lot easier than watching Johnson, et. al.
  3. The opportunity for playoffs has passed us by. I still want us to finish as high as possible, and beat Preston. Not necessarily in that order. Oh, and sack Mowbray. That’s about it, my Rovers wants all went on the trash pile some time ago.
  4. I envy everybody, but us. You are right, they’re crap, but we’re a mess. We can’t even beat catfish teams now.
  5. I wish I was still this positive… I don’t see us catch anybody, hanging onto 8th, a minor miracle
  6. I live an ocean & half a continent away, but following Blackburn Rovers is my #1 enjoyment in all of the sporting world. That being said, it’s not enjoyable, and hasn’t been for sometime. I will continue to follow the club, because I would miss it terribly if I didn’t. I do not expect anything to happen to Mowbray right now. I expect when the season ends, and the loaners return to their parent clubs, and 3 or more of our best players leave, a decision will be made. Until then, I will check the scores, check the posts here on BRFC, and hope for events that bring about positive change. I’m not very hopeful.
  7. I am not getting this one, why was vH replaced? Usually one of our better players
  8. It’s very sad, but Mowbray’s lack of passion was sure to rub off on the players eventually. No enthusiasm, pride and joy to play the game they love are dead.
  9. There’s really no statements that can be made today, by either a Rovers win or a loss. Two things would make us all feel better: 1) Rovers win; 2) Mowbray resigns. Make yourself feel good, Tony, & us feel better about you: Go out on a Rovers win.
  10. Excellent, sir, and you are right in your conclusion… We will be back.
  11. Exactly, all cogent Rovers fans know enough not to expect a win every time. But to lose to the dross of the division, is simply inexcusable. Bristol, @Reading, @Coventry, & Blackpool, all points we dropped that were winnable. At least 8 pts, just pissed away.
  12. I disagree with calling Mowbray names, or making fun of him. I don’t know him personally. He just needs to go, and it’s past time for that to happen.
  13. Yes, I am afraid we’re looking at a rebuild, from the ground up. I cannot see any of the out of contract players staying.
  14. It should be an active off-season. Replace mgr, & his team; several of our better players are out of contract, they must be replaced; four loaners (two of whom are our better players) must be replaced, etc. Maybe we need a load of unfamiliar faces. Maybe who we have now are too willing to embrace mediocrity. We are a young enough club, but right now, I would take even younger players, managed by a younger, hungrier manager.
  15. That’s it. Getting hammered by last place Posh. We’re a laughingstock. I am convinced any manager in Championship could’ve kept us in playoff places.
  16. I agree on what should happen; however, in the end any kind of win, I will be glad to get
  17. I’m a bit anxious about his 11 today; it seems our wingers & forwards should pick themselves. We are sure to see Tonys flying circus today.
