  1. Permanent Lockdown or a Season Ticket to watch a Mowbray team? Not easy.
  2. Without watching it I'm guessing that might not be all City's fault.

  4. Is Venus in the dugout playing with his model of the Brockhall development?
  5. He lives rent free in your head 24/7. It's fascinating from a psychological point of view.
  6. I'm not even watching it but that made me laugh.
  7. Mowbray said it was wide left - where BB normally plays.
  8. Tonight is the night that Brererereton & Gally blossom into the new SAS. BAG shit BAG
  9. Low cost, high pressing: how Barnsley took the Championship by storm | Football | The Guardian Lowest budget in the Championship. Interesting read.
  10. Well, wiv a little bit of bloomin cluck, the chicken chokers will soon fack orf.
  11. Half of them. He isn't the problem. The manager is.
  12. 18 goals scored in our last 20 matches. Tony 'attacking platform' Mowbray
  13. I think it helps if your mate is CEO. Integrity.
  14. It's no worse than Barnsley's squad. IMHO, where people get it wrong is seeing a few quality players come in and thinking that's all that matters. Of course good players make a difference, but a quality manager in an ultra competitive division like the Championship is the difference between 16th and 6th - even with the same players.
  15. No idea, but he's been all over the BBC in the last month or two doing punditry. He doesn't come across as the best communicator TBF.
  16. Didn't know Karanka had been sacked. He's been under pressure for months but still got 3 more points than Mowbray in the last 10 games. And as for points already gained, it's a fairly meaningless argument when Mowbray is going to finish miles from his self-acknowledged target of top 6. Looking at the fixtures our next 5 games are Bristol C, Norwich, Wycombe. B'mouth and Cardiff. I wonder if 1 win in 15 games is enough to get him the sack? I have my doubts.
  17. I wouldn't judge any player under this manager. And regardless of age some players can suddenly enjoy a purple patch.
  18. We're officially the worst team in the league over the last ten games. 1 win, 5 points and 8 goals scored. He'd be sacked at a normal club, especially where the target was challenging for the Top 6.
  19. Joe Rothwell retakes orchestrating duty as Blackburn Rovers contract situation comes to light - LancsLive Rothwell's agency, that also happens to represent Joe Rankin-Costello, firmly believe their client warrants more than what Rovers are offering. But to further complicate matters, his agent is increasingly unhappy at the series of substitute appearances he has made in recent weeks, with Rothwell occupying a role from the bench in six of Rovers' last nine fixtures. As things stand the likelihood is Rovers will have to trigger his one-year clause but that presents a dilemma in the summer, especially with Rothwell's future unresolved. Do the club cash in? It's a similar predicament to that of Adam Armstrong, whose current deal expires in 2022 - and Rovers are going to have to assess all avenues moving forward.
