  1. I don't think so mate. I'm going with an earlier suggestion of NowTV for now. As I'm thicker than a whale omelette I tend to duck away from all the vpn stuff. But if NTV doesn't work for me I'll give other options a try.
  2. You are correct... I think he played only 1 or 2 games for them before coming to us on loan. Went on to play a lot more games for Burnley after being loaned out numerous times to different clubs.
  3. And Tranmere.... We got Alan Mahon from there if I recall. Good player.
  4. Stockport, Gillingham and Crewe in there. How times have changed.
  5. Just had a look and that seems to be a viable option. Just less than a tenner that I'd normally pay to rovers tv. Looks like you can chrome cast to my TV as well. We will see how it goes. Thanks again.
  6. I'll have a gander... Thankyou.
  7. An important fixture against a decent side. COYB.
  8. I think he's referring to a post that's already been deleted tbh.
  9. Just had a peep over on a Hull City forum and apparently the game has been selected for live coverage on Sky Sports. That's me buggered then as I won't be able to watch it on Rovers TV.
  10. FA Cup.... No replays for rounds 3 and 4.
  11. Joint mom Van Hecke and pears for me.
  12. Just watching the first half between Halmstad Bk v Helsingborg in a relegation/promotion play off game. Marcus Antonnson featuring for Halmstad. Rovers TV for me in a few minutes for a more important game.
  13. FWIW Just ordered the home and away kit in xxl sizes. Hopefully on the way to here in Sweden. Oh! And living abroad you get the VAT taken off. Just hope they arrive.
  14. I know they won't but wouldn't it be a good think to keep the same kit next season?
  15. Colne Dynamoes had more on for some games.
  16. Going back to the 90s I borrowed a couple of books from a Rovers supporting mate of mine. One book was about all rovers league tables since when and the other was about Burnley. Both included attendances. I looked at the season when Burnley last won the league and compared the gates we got against theirs. Now, if my memories serve me right, when Burnley won the league in was is 1960/61....????.....where did we finish? 7th or 8th. When I totted up the league and cups attendances for that season and averaged them out Rovers averaged appx 7000 more per home game than Burnley. Tit for tat I know. Just hope I remembered rightly.
  17. Brilliant hard fought win. Well done lads. Must be the hardest working team in the league.
  18. The £10 match day pass regarding Rovers TV is now available through the club website. Just purchased myself. Domestic and international available.
  19. I would put Grant Hanley in the same bracket tbh. His buffalo head seems to weigh him down as did his temperament. Never ever thought he would make it as a Premier league footballer with Newcastle... Even with Norwich yo-yoing between the championship and Premiership. Pig farmer springs to mind.
  20. Not sure I should be posting this but one of my closest friends was employed as company accountant for one of Mr. Walkers sons / son in law, not sure tbh but they were part of Walkers Trust. He told me about an amount of money spent on a single family holiday. Eye watering to say the least.
  21. Billy Hamilton getting injured in the pre match warm up helped us!
