  1. And they get away with people thinking everything is just incompetence because they are so fucking useless. As useless and thick as people like swag are, they know how to complete a transfer. I was about 95% sure the O'Brien deal was deliberately sabotaged and I'm now 100% all three of these deals were pulled deliberately.

  3. The biggest record fee ever received was by us for Shearer. 15 million. Which equates to about 400 million nowadays. That will never be beaten. This whole scenario is totally disgusting. We sold our best player for half of what he was worth and will not spend a penny of the money. The only hope I have from this is that the court cites it as precedent to not allow the owners to send over funds.
  4. The court date could easily be postponed again also. Maybe they will cite the Wharton sale as evidence the club can generate its own funds and deny them sending over money. Bring on the administrator I say.
  5. They've had over 10million worth of assets seized already and the investigation into them is only just getting started. The ED are strongly opposed to allowing them to send money over. From the very beginning people were saying that things didn't look right and look where we are now.
  6. That first season of his is still one of my favourites. I'll never forget that Sheffield Wednesday game. And the 4-0 smashing of villa. It's a shame it all turned to shite, a lot of issues that were pre existing and a lot of ego's he struggled to manage. Then made some poor signings and some good ones that struggled to make it in the English game. I reckon if he'd have come back after Hughes left we'd have gone on to win more silverware. Unfortunately he was the right manager at the wrong time. I'll always have time for Roy. A top top manager and a top top man.
  7. At least four deals have not gone through under his tenure. Three of them were quite crucial to our progression. Given that one of them we know was scuttled by the owners and the other three were "administrative errors" I'd reckon there's way way more than we know about.
  8. The Style Council - Shout To The Top
  9. Hopefully he'll be fine. Put yer feet up mogs and get on the lemon drizzle.
  10. He'd actually started to get into some good form before the knee injury.
  11. Siouxie & The Banshees - Happy House
  12. I was under the impression that he was starting to get into some good form before getting injured. I think earlier when he went there he was playing out of position but then they put him more central and he was doing well. Last season was similar, he was coming into some good form and then picked up a nasty injury. He's not had the best of luck the last couple of years.
  13. Be good to have Buckley back. Can't rush him though, he's had two really unfortunate and really bad injuries in the last two seasons. Will be interesting to see how Eustace uses him. We need something in midfield, we haven't got the squad to just hoof it every time.
  14. Were there offers for them though? There were reports of 3.5m for Rothwell, 8m for Diaz and 2m for Gallagher. All offers refused. Yet they jump at the chance to sell Adam Wharton, Kaminski and Phillips (although granted the low buy out was probably negotiated from his end) for pennies on the dollar. Maybe it's nothing but I am always suspicious about what goes on at this place, and with good cause.
  15. Suspicious to me especially given the close connections to the club of a certain agent around that time.
  16. Is it just me or are all the players who left on free transfers after the owners turned down cash offers for them all Mowbray signings?
  17. I wasn't even alive then and I'm pissed off about this game.
  18. It's been difficult. Some absolutely ludicrous ideas have been suggested. I've been suggesting the whistle idea since the beginning, mainly because it's the most practical and achievable. Even in our current state there doesn't seem to be any appetite for any sort of real action. It's a bit pathetic really.
  19. Absolutely. Goes without saying really. Absolutely unbelievable they can't give a shirt to a mascot. Total disgrace.
  20. This team has absolutely no guts at all so you'll be sorely disappointed if you're expecting them to fight.
  21. Imagine that at Rovers. You want to walk out with us on the pitch? You'll need to have your own shirt though, if you don't then you can fuck off.
