  1. "Badly advised" ๐Ÿคฎ
  2. Bear in mind though, the reptile brained apologists ARE in the minority. The majority of fans have walked away. Attendance figures and season ticket sales show this. If and when venkys depart, some of them will be back. Just blindly supporting whatever shit is served up to you and defending the people that are destroying the club does not make you a 'real fan'. It makes you an accomplice. I suspect that many of those 'supporters' would be cheering on a pile of dog shit as long as you painted it in blue & white halves. Then no doubt would be on the attack against anyone that dared to point out that our once great club has been replaced by a pile of shit. Personally I believe that the real supporters are those of us who hold venkys and their acolytes to account for what they have done. If you support venkys in any way, you do not support Blackburn Rovers.
  3. Nah record breakers for me. Spending ยฃ130 million to become officially the shittest team to ever play in the Premier League. That would be far far far sweeter. Think big.
  4. Rolling Stones - Mother's Little Helper Whatever happened to stonesrick anyway?
  5. Remember when the red scum actually did that for the F.A. Cup and got knocked out in the third round?
  6. I'm really hoping that they can break the record for fewest points total at the end of the season.

  8. Wasn't that long ago that we were averaging 25k a week.
  9. 13th Floor Elevators - You're Gonna Miss Me

  11. The club's best interest? What the fuck is that?
  12. Simon & Garfunkel - Sound Of Silence
  13. But that's not playing "The right way"
  14. No we haven't. In fact any time we've ever come close to the top division those in power have sabotaged any chance of it happening.
  15. If the ambition of the club is to simply exist, there is no reason for it to exist.
  16. The best band in the world according to themselves. I agree you can't compare Weller to either of them. Weller is in the same league as Lennon/McCartney and Ray Davies. I think Noel and RA is a lot closer than you'd think. The first three Oasis records are absolutely brilliant. How many other groups can you put on their albums and know every single song? All of the above are great and I'd gladly go and see them live.
  17. That goes without saying really. Unless you happen to have a brain as empty as Ewood on a League Cup night.
  18. I agree, but he did say the last 30 years. Weller has put out some gold in that time but his purple patch was the 70s and 80s. The real question though, is he better than Noel?
  19. Unfortunately he inherited a lot of problems that came with that great squad. Lots of Billy Big Bollocks that didn't like being told what to do. I still reckon if we'd have had him back after Hughes left, we'd have been a solid top six side every year.
  20. It just makes all the fuss the media made about him and the Dingles last year even more embarrassing. With the budget they had, even Paul Ince would have got that squad promoted. Hopefully The Messiahยฎ will be there for the full season at least.
  21. The gulf even within the Premier League is ridiculous. Look at the dingles. They absolutely pissed this league last year, spent 133 million and are second bottom. I raised the point last year that when we were promoted, we finished 10th and won a trophy, both of the other teams also stayed up. I speculated that the dingles would have no chance of that. So far I've been proven right. The whole parachute payments is a total scam and is designed solely to benefit the Premier League and make it a closed shop. The payments are only made to clubs who fail to get promoted on the first attempt, and the money that doesn't go to the clubs that do this just stays in the Premier League. Massive brutal changes are required to sort this out but they are highly unlikely to happen as they would lead to the wealthiest clubs being knocked down a few pegs. At least some of us got to experience football as a competitive sport that was entertaining to watch.
