The main issue we have with growing the fan base is that the club has absolutely zero ambition. There is no reason to support this club unless you are from Blackburn or have been a lifelong supporter like all of us on here. Literally every club in the world has more to offer than us

Mowbray was only ever there to keep them up last year. He got an extra couple of months because of the playoff finish but he was always going to be binned for someone actually decent. As I've posted before, Sunderland have ambition, we don't.

That's what a club with ambition does. Got what they needed from Mowbray and then binned him off just as one of his famous death spirals was beginning. Only at this club, where they have gone on record as saying they have absolutely no ambition at all, would a dolloper like Mowbray get 5 years to achieve absolutely fucking nothing.
