  1. @Sweaty Gussets, That is the best forum name I have ever seen.
  2. It was so easy to get this right. The precedent had already been set by Bolton, PNE and Burnley regarding the ticket prices. They were all moving big numbers well before Rovers tickets went on sale. To get this as wrong as they did could only be done either deliberately or by absolute super human levels of incompetence. The season ticket figures are nothing other than total failure.
  3. The season starts in seven and a half days. Don't know about the rest of you but I am genuinely excited.
  4. Hopefully. He did a great job for us when he was here. Hopefully he can keep doing a great job for us down the road.
  5. Great setup from Gallagher. At least I think it was Gallagher.
  6. Can't blame him if he chooses Besiktas. European football and living in Turkey for a few years would be a phenomenal experience. But hey, I'm a man of the world.
  7. Given there was no source given for the other figure I would say your estimate would be closer. After all you are going off the club's official seat map showing what seats are available and what aren't. Either way those figures are pathetic.
  8. Mark Hughes had no experience managing in the Premier League. That turned out quite well. Being involved in recruiting players for Wales will no doubt pay off as he's likely to be well connected throughout the game at the levels which we will be looking to recruit within. More positive things happening here.
  9. To be fair just going off the season ticket prices I'd say he couldn't give a toss. Thank you for your efforts, asking challenging questions and honest reporting of the whole affair. I can imagine that he would be a very welcoming and personable guy but at the end of the day actions are what count. Pleading poverty due to FFP, every club has to deal the same rules. One of the main reasons we struggle so much is the total lack of commercial revenue generated by the club. Season tickets, Ewood maintenance, commercial activities. All failure. Oh and he tried to flog the training ground.
  10. WTF? I thought we were in a state of jubilation due to our first signing? Why are people at each other now?
  11. A lot of those videos they put on twitter are very good. Except the shirt promo where they were proudly showing off the rotting carcass of the Riverside.
  12. Not quite Brittan first but it was fucking close.
  13. It was a rave review, as to be expected.
  14. Extracted would also be acceptable.
  15. Exciting, although I'll reserve full excitement until it is 100% officially announced, ie a picture of him holding up a Rovers shirt in front of the Blackburn End.
  16. Got this today. I am pleased with my purchase.
  17. Losing that kind of money is not sustainable for any club. Change is needed. I agree a salary cap would be a possible step in the right direction. There needs to be fan input and oversight also as without fans football is just another sport. Imagine if we'd have had the power to veto decisions like firing Big Sam or giving Steve Kean a job etc etc etc.
  18. Maybe it is that drastic changes throughout the whole game are needed? What solutions can you forsee?
  19. We are losing £15m a year due to the ownership. If you're happy with the way things are then crack on. I demand better and am not satisfied with waiting around, hoping and praying for a nicer, kinder slave master.
  20. 51% fan ownership. Also known as the 50 + 1 rule. Not a perfect solution but infinitely better than what we have at present.
  21. If you play any sports where you're running around and the man gravy starts to flow then they are superb.
  22. Golden Earring - Radar Love
