Granted he cannot be fully blamed for players not signing and moving on but under his tenure the club has been commercially regressing year after year. Season tickets being a prime example of this. Maybe it wouldn't add up to player sales but at the end of the day more is still more. The fact people are even comparing us to Preston shows how far we have fallen and we are always towards the bottom of the table when it comes to revenue. He is running the place into the ground and needs to be gotten rid of and replaced with someone who has a rudimentary understanding of how the capitalist system works.

If the club made more money then we'd be able to raise the cap and compete with other clubs. The absolutely pathetic amount of revenue the club generates is definitely in a large part down to Waggott.

You can't just blame Saint Steven for everything, after all how can it be his fault that players are leaving in droves without any replacements, there are 2/3rds the number of season ticket sales that we should be getting, the stadium in a state of disrepair and so on. Don't you know there was some work done on the pitch over summer, all is fine and dandy.

Once again you completely miss the point in the name of defending your friend. Why should the fans have to point out to him that year after year his season ticket policies and pricing are a total failure. If he doesn't understand the reason for us needing to have a higher attendance then he isn't fit to do the job. There are a lot of things that you can criticise Rovers for but global supply chain issues are not one of them.

I think the idea of a DOF is to let the manager concentrate on the team on the field. Ultimately he will always have the final say in who we recruit. At least that's how I would expect it to work.

Results are what counts. If he's a right good bloke and has passion then great. But time and time again he has failed. The season ticket prices this year are a prime example of this. I understand that it isn't just him making all of the decisions but he is the top man and therefore the buck stops at his door. Under his stewardship the club has done very little to proactively deal with the issues that are faced. Instead its just more and more penny pinching and austerity. The only thing that comes out of austerity is more austerity. Oh and trying to flog half the training ground is a bit of a negative as far as I'm concerned. Also, if there is all this money available from the owners, who apparently never refuse to sign a cheque, then why is the stadium in the state it is, why don't we have a first rate pitch at all times and why don't we have absolutely world class training facilities?
