My thoughts exactly. I'm not cheering for him to be used out of sentimentality, I want him to be involved because he is class and can offer something different. Had he been involved more in some of the games where we really struggled with getting it out of defence I think we could have got something out of them. The manager needs to be big enough to not operate a scorched earth policy as that would be bad for the team. And the team is number one remember.

All that proves is that xg is a load of bollocks. Against Sunderland they had a higher expected goals than us but lost 2-0. Its total bollocks. The only time I would expect a goal to be scored is if Shearer had just put the ball down on the penalty spot.

Well it's good to know you are seeing the same problems as everyone else. What has the response been?

I think we should always have at least two up in situations like that. They can't commit too many forward and as soon as we get the ball it can be quickly launched up the pitch. I'd fancy Dolan against most defenders in that situation.

It's hard to say. Sometimes yes and other times its a massive no. We have the ability to beat any team in the division and if we make the right moves in January we can definitely be in the mix for promotion. Some performances have been absolutely awful and not having a single shot on target against Wigan is not acceptable. But we seem to be able to win games where we haven't played that well and one or two games we've absolutely dominated. Everything is still settling in and we've still got a thin squad even though we've got a lot of top notch academy players. We have a real chance of promotion this year as every team is quite poor.

Some of the stadiums look impressive. It's amazing what you can achieve with slave labour.

One thing for sure is he'll be getting told that a 2 win in 17 game death spiral is not good enough.

Dack gives an outlet to move the ball forward. He has the ability to make something happen and that is what we sorely miss. The league is absolutely piss poor. There is not one team that stands out as being the most dominant. We have a real chance.
