  1. Got this today. I am pleased with my purchase.
  2. Losing that kind of money is not sustainable for any club. Change is needed. I agree a salary cap would be a possible step in the right direction. There needs to be fan input and oversight also as without fans football is just another sport. Imagine if we'd have had the power to veto decisions like firing Big Sam or giving Steve Kean a job etc etc etc.
  3. Maybe it is that drastic changes throughout the whole game are needed? What solutions can you forsee?
  4. We are losing £15m a year due to the ownership. If you're happy with the way things are then crack on. I demand better and am not satisfied with waiting around, hoping and praying for a nicer, kinder slave master.
  5. 51% fan ownership. Also known as the 50 + 1 rule. Not a perfect solution but infinitely better than what we have at present.
  6. If you play any sports where you're running around and the man gravy starts to flow then they are superb.
  7. Golden Earring - Radar Love
  8. For the money he'll be on he'd be able to bring his family with him just about. Anyway it isn't like he's working a 55 hour a week job and never gets any time at home. I'd really like him to stay but I expect that any offer Rovers would send his way would be nothing short of an insult.
  9. Never watched him week in week out but it always seemed like we were more solid with him in the side. Absolutely ridiculous just letting him leave like that, especially if he really was asking for 6.5k. More penny pinching bullshit from bargain basement bonehead management. Waggott OUT! Venkys OUT! 51% NOW!
  10. Over the last couple of days there has been some gold posted on here. I think my favourite has to be the Brittan first post.
  11. £32.50 to watch Swansea City Vs Blackburn Rovers. Totally. Fucking. Mental.
  12. They are nice enough. The home shirt would have been better if the halves were reversed. That sponsor has absolutely wrecked them for me though. It's an absolute pile of wank and as a result I will not be getting a shirt this year.
  13. You earn £600 a day?
  14. Not sure why GB would be all of a sudden getting so much flack. The current problems are endemic with this club so it's hardly his fault.
  15. Nothing is ever done at this club with due diligence or regard for anything other than the easiest laziest way to tick the box and say we did xyz.
  16. A true diehard would walk!
  17. Total bollocks. All clubs have a small percentage of fans that cause trouble. Celtic always have a huge following of glory hunting 'supporters' and therefore have a decent size section of knobheads.
  18. No because all is fine and any opinions to the contrary are negative and will cause the players to implode spontaneously when they come within 2 metres of the centre circle. Go rovers!
  19. He's a Judas anyway.
  20. Housemartins - Happy Hour
  21. It was embarrassing. We should have smashed them 7 - 0 in the first leg but for some reason no body would have a sho on goal. Missed the second leg as we had gone on holiday to Amerikkka. Me and my dad were looking up the result in a diner or something like that as that was the only place we could get on the Internet. Was gutted to lose to them. Especially when we got back and heard about how they went and caused loads of trouble. I'm pretty sure that year Uefa gave them an award for good behaviour. Fuck Uefa, they have destroyed football.
  22. Bollocks. We were averaging 25k a week 15 years ago. It's only due to the total decimation of the club by the ownership that crowds are as low as they are.
  23. So people should be positive about the ticketing, maintenance of Ewood, no signings, Venkys etc etc?
