He's been treated like shit in this situation no doubt about it. It shows how badly run the club is. The other side of that coin is that at a club that was run with even the slightest shred of competence he would have been booted years ago.

The way they behaved at the League Cup final and the way the media fawned over them was disgusting. What made no sense to me at all was that we'd already beaten them earlier in the season.

With the current ownership we will never move anywhere else other than mid table in the Championship. That is key to the way they operate their business model. Mid table second division with a high turnover in playing staff = lots of commission for the agents that more than likely run the club. This season was the prime example of this. Sitting second in January yet no investment whatsoever even though they pocketed millions from the Armstrong sale months before.

Stockholm Syndrome at it's finest. I would somewhat disagree with the last sentence though. I think the fans do share a portion of the blame for our situation. It is the fans who should be holding the owners and their business partners to account for the state of the club. The fans should be letting them know that everything that goes on at the club will be put under a microscope and will be held under close scrutiny. If it wasn't for the excellent job that Glen and others have been doing then Anderson and co would still be wandering round Brockhall freely and acting with total impunity. Now they are confined to the shadows. It is the responsibility of the fans to make positive changes happen, not just at our club but throughout the whole game.
