  1. I admire your optimism. However I would advise you to prepare to be underwhelmed and disappointed.
  2. He's been totally shafted with not knowing what is going on regarding his contract especially after five years of service. It's certainly not what Mowbray deserves. On the other hand if he was working somewhere with competent people in charge he would have been booted long ago rather than seeing out hi whole contract, which he also does not deserve to have done.
  3. Granted he's had some abuse on here that is over the top. He doesn't help himself though as his press conferences and such are usually all about himself, his most recent one being a prime example of that. However when he's totally fucked things up like having us miss out on the playoffs after being second in January then it's not about him. It's the players, the ref etc etc etc. So in conclusion he's not totally terrible but he certainly is a dick head.
  4. Like anyone who turned up to watch during the midst of one of his famous death spirals.
  5. After the win the other night it will be another five years of Tony Mowbray.
  6. Tony Mowbray always likes to bang on and on about how young this side is and that is why they fail. Not because of him being a shit manager and a complete dick head. Just out of curiosity, what was the average age of the 1995 title winning side?
  7. So thanks to that dick head of a manager, what should have been a game to determine second place and automatic promotion is now a game where if we win and other results go our way then we maybe might pretty please with sugar on top be able to sneak into sixth place. Even if we got into the playoffs and won this shit manager we have needs to be disposed of.
  8. It's a bit game and we need a win. Mowbray will totally fuck this up. Once again he will totally bottle it and set up the team to fail.
  9. He's not half decent though, he's shit. He's also a complete twat. Hopefully he doesn't get a new contract and just fucks off at the end of the year so we can get on with complaining about the next washed up tosser they appoint.
  10. After just looking at the table I'm going to say my final answer is 13th.
  11. No. We don't play with strikers.
  12. Well 2/3rds of one anyway...
  13. Yes as much as I dislike the oafs down the road it would be quite sweet to see Everton drop down. Seeing as how they are such a "big club" and all that. Don't be surprised if the referees are making rather generous decisions in the favour of Everton while being particularly harsh on the dingles over the remaining matches.
  14. Category AAA++++ tickets from £47. Bargain!
  15. Watching rovers under Mowbray is more like a fork in the eye.
  16. It was never a line of defence, it was always total bollocks.
  17. Not sure about throwing matches, that is mainly because Mowbray is a dick head and a shit manager. But the people in charge definitely do not want promotion. That has been made clear over the last 12 years.
  18. Whether you've bought a ticket or not you definitely have the right to complain. To be fair if you aren't complaining then you aren't really paying attention.
  19. It's sickening what is happening throughout the whole of football. Just look down the road, another well run club sold off and decimated by a foreign private equity firm or whatever the fuck they are. I'm reaching the point whereby if the clubs are not at the very least half owned and controlled by the fans/members then I don’t think I would want to go back. We have no power as fans under the current system, we have been turned into a commodity when in reality we are the most important part of the game.
  20. Well they will be forced to sooner or later as it's all a crumbling wreck. It is all very deliberate.
  21. It's almost as though there is a deliberate strategy to get rid of the fans.
  22. Well the figures show that at least 10000 have walked away. Some due to just plain disinterest and others as a way of taking a stand. That is the reason I have never been back. It's the only way I as an individual can have any power in the situation. Some people like to throw around insults to those of us who have walked away in protest but I can say that I have not financially contributed towards the desecration of something that we all hold sacred.
  23. We are more likely to end up like Bury with Venkys than without.
  24. Both of the above mentioned have ambition and would be making a solid attempt at promotion. That is contrary to the goals of the people running the club.
