  1. And then Andy Cole sends the keeper off to get a brew as well.
  2. Considering the product on offer I'd say it's about £449 too expensive.
  3. Not while venkys have anything to do with the club. New ownership and some real ambition will see a few come back for a cursory look and then no doubt many will once again be bitten by the bug. It's not just about the football it's the community and feeling that you belong to something bigger than yourself. What venkys have done is rip the heart and soul out of that community. I will never give them a single penny nor will I lower the standards that I expect from the club under their ownership.
  4. It's a shame we can't take cuttings of Bryan Douglas and grow another Bryan Douglas.
  5. There's more to it than just public transport, you'd have to do a lot of rezoning to ensure that there are necessary services close to where people live. There's a movement of people campaigning for the 10 minute city etc. There needs to be major changes made, people liking their cars is not a good enough reason for the annihilation of the very atmosphere and environment that we all require to survive. I'm not exactly optimistic about anything positive happening tbf.
  6. In reality the solution to reducing the pollution caused by the amount of cars on the road is to reduce the number of cars on the road. Massive public transport infrastructure needs to be put in place and restoration of things like tramways, which were ripped out at the behest of oil companies to make way for motor vehicles. Normally I wouldn't hold my breath but since the air of the future looks set to be completely toxic, maybe it's a good idea to do so.
  7. The Jam - Just Who Is The 5 O'clock Hero?
  8. And 22m is still 14m less than what the minimum acceptable amount should have been. Standards.
  9. I second this.
  10. That is correct. I think the ship has sailed on getting back the full 10-12 Thousand fans that have been driven away by venkys without a major puscht. I reckon a change of ownership and some positivity and actual ambition could bring around 4k back. If our season ticket sales are anywhere below 12,000 then that can only be deemed a total failure.
  11. I'd be more than happy for him to take the Dingle job.
  12. And when it comes to Rovers they talk total bollocks.
  13. But we did have shit loads of injuries. Because we're so shit in every area of the pitch this is the place for young players to get a shot at regular first team football.
  14. Exactly, there is one reason and one reason only that we are in this position and that is because of the cancer that has infested every single area of this club since late 2010.
  15. Johnny Thunders - You can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory
  16. The Beach Boys - California Girls
  17. Hopefully @goozburger will be once again doing his excellent work on keeping up with the season ticket count. I'd trust his estimate over any official numbers published.
  18. Exactly, that is a disgrace. The club needs to put some effort in to attract more fans. 12,000 should be the bare minimum of season ticket sales. If they can't manage that then they're doing something wrong.
  19. They've a lot to do before they'll get us back to that level. This is the absolute worst state the club has ever been in and it's only going to get worse.
  20. If you believe anything that comes out of the club then you're setting yourself up for failure.
  21. What a time to have zero bucks in your account.
  22. Cool, only 10,000 more to go for it to not be a total failure.
  23. They achieved 24 points. They were shit.
  24. They've a long way to go before that. They haven't even tried to deliberately relegate the club yet, nor have they paid out all their top players 80% of their contracts to get them to leave. There's a lot for them to do before they can start deliberately sabotaging any attempt to get promoted back to the premier league.
