  1. I drove the EV we have at work and it was the nicest driving car I've ever been in. The major reservations for me with them is range and longevity. Even Makita batteries take a while to charge and lose their efficiency after a while. I think in terms of career opportunities you probably want something that you know you can get a long journey out of at short notice. You say you've a steady gig now but that can either change or there could be an opportunity for something special come up at short notice and reliable transport is essential.
  2. I reckon given your situation you should probably look at either a hybrid or extremely fuel efficient car. If an opportunity for a good project comes up you've got to go for it and these things are often last minute. You still need to put reliability up at the top of the pile when it comes to a new car. If it's the environmental concerns regarding a fossil fuel vehicle vs electric then there's far more to consider than just emissions. The minerals required for an EV are many and for every tonne of coltan that goes into building these things there probably a good couple of hundred child soldiers massacring their way through the Congolese jungle.
  3. "What about your links to Kentaro?" "Why has there not been a single attempt to get the club back into the Premier League?"
  4. More communication from the club and owners is exactly what we want. That way they can be held to what they say and pressed by the fans. We can demand to them that what they're doing isn't fucking good enough. It won't take long for them to hang themselves with their own words. Solid facts like what is outlined in the timeline can't be argued with or avoided.
  5. DUU YOO NUT NOO HEW FFP WERKZ! GET BEHIND THE LADZ FFS!
  6. I'd swap the keeper they don't have for the one we do anyday.
  7. I wouldn't. Anything other than promotion is a failure with this ownership.
  8. I'll believe it when they run out on the pitch in a game after the transfer window has closed.
  9. No no no. There will only be job losses if we go into administration.
  10. Well I hope you informed him that this is what the clubs and the league wanted.
  11. Excellent work getting the shadow man into the picture. Put pressure on the bastard. Also, his links to Kentaro. Make him feel the heat.
  12. He kicked the ball into his own fucking net. He's shit and I never want to see him play for Rovers again.
  13. I'm not expecting some sort of seismic change to come about from the Trust meeting with shadow man but I think it's absolutely fantastic that he's being brought into the light. This guy needs to have the pressure put on him big time. I would hazard a guess that nothing happens at this club without his say so. Meetings with anyone else are absolutely pointless. As mentioned above, a quick update would have been appreciated. Great work from all concerned.
  14. That's just the starting 11. We still need backup for these. Still another 9 signings needed.
  15. That's awesome Tyrone. Surprised somewhat that Mayall wasn't that loud given Clapton used to run his Marshall flat out or close to it. I've actually played the cavern, the new one obviously as they demolished the original to build a vent. We played in the back room which I was somewhat disappointed with as I wanted to play in the actual cavern part. I did play numerous gigs at the cellar bar so the novelty of the cavern wasn't that big a deal.
  16. So like Tim Sherwood, who was a number 4 😉
  17. Haven't you said numerous times that you don't bet?
  18. City Rovers Bolton Stanley The North West is the best.
  19. As I mentioned above, the Trust needs to demand his presence at these meetings. If he's not there then call it off citing hos refusal to attend as the reason. Given he's supposedly the owner's representative he should be involved. Shine the light on him and expose him.
  20. Every aspect of Rovers is far superior to the six fingered creatures down the road. The history and prestige within the game, the academy, the ground, the town itself. Under a new ownership that shows pride and ambition we will climb back up into the top tier and the dingles will be back in their rightful place beneath our boot. The only reason things are the way they currently are is because of venkys.
  21. They certainly don't represent anybody who has paid the slightest bit of attention over the last 14 years.
  22. Great stuff DeeCee
