Priorities will change on what we league we are in. But, in a general sense, we should want to keep the key pieces together so they can continue to get better. Being in the Prem would require some improvement in more than one area, but again let's try to not count our chickens before they hatch if you will. I second this.Regardless of how our fortunes have deffo not been what we have wanted them to be over the past decade or so, we still have won more and have better history than a ton of other clubs above us and below us will ever have.Rovers are my pride and joy and always will be. If we are serious about promotion( I think we somewhat are) then we need at least 2 pieces to come in this window maybe even more. The clubs right below us can arguably upgrade more efficiently than we can if you will and we need to do something ourselves to keep up. See that's my whole thing with Newcastle. Yes they can essentially next month just throw money to get guys in to help them stay up, but will have to overpay imo in the same sense to convince the players they probably want to be willing to live in Newcastle. Especially when said players will potentially get more attractive offers also.
