  1. I'm not sure what the problem is with going to a respected ex-player for a character reference on the bloke they are just about to hire as manager, who was recommended by a new DoF that they don't know that well as he's just walked through the door. They've been stung in the past. Seems a bit silly not to do some homework. Still, any stick to beat them with.... 😉
  2. I think 'your part of the world' covers that.
  3. Yeah, it's that simple. Thanks for clearing that up.
  4. Not disagreeing, just saying we improved as the season went on. We also finished a coventry goalkeepers punched goal from the play-offs. Our best finish since we went down and with the right players every chance we'll be up there next season. He's clearly a good manager.
  5. We've got better as the season has gone on and the football has been excellent at times. We've also got better when we've gone behind as the season has gone on. Full confidence in us having a good season next year if he stays and GB brings in the players we need.
  6. JDT was GB's choice. It took 6 days from GB being appointed to JDT being named manager.
  7. Lets get it in the FECKIN mixer, kick some ARSE, grow some BALLS, and STRAP a pair on. Promoted. SIMPLES!
  8. I think you're projecting again!
  9. Arne Slot: Feyenoord concerned they will lose manager to Tottenham this summer | Football News | Sky Sports How Tottenham could line up under Arne Slot with two England stars as top transfer targets for summer rebuild | The Sun Most of them have been for the last week, even yesterday.
  10. It's a fairly obvious angle when all things are considered. Unless JDT chooses to move his family to England then it seems likely he'd want to return to Rotterdam. They are building a house there and GB said in the interview the other day that JDT wanted to do the first year away from his family and then decide whether to bring them over. Add in his previous links to the club, and a 12 year old who knows nothing about football could have joined the dots.
  11. Scott at Brizzle is a quality player....ran the show at our place this season. Liverpool are after him.
  12. You might be singing his name next season😉
  13. I'm starting to think it's you who wants Mowbray back. You never stop going on about him😉
  14. A week ago it was reported by the BBC and others that Spurs weren't interested in Nagelsmann. The Telegraph then said they were interested again because their new DoF might want him. Trouble is they haven't appointed a new DoF. All a bit messy at the Lane! Why Tottenham could now make U-turn on decision to ignore Nagelsmann (hitc.com)
  15. I think I read JDT is currently having a house built in Rotterdam. If Feyenoord want him you'd imagine he'll be off. They won the league and so will be in the CL next year.
  16. You get fat for a living? I want that job.
  17. I would summarise last season thus:- TK's best performances were better than anything Pears produced. TK's worst performances were worse than anything Pears produced. Sell them both 🙂
  18. You see the cliché about 'trusting the process' quite a lot these days. I can understand managers and coaches saying it when trying to change the style of play at a club, but cringe dickheads on shite twitter sites really do need to stop repeating it. Twats!
  19. I think we've run out. We're going to have to crowdfund a BRFCS Burns Unit.
  20. Tributes paid to former Blackburn Rovers player Barrie Ratcliffe | Lancashire Telegraph
  21. Yeah, he's had rotten luck with injuries. Also didn't realise the Irish Messi had been out for nearly a year with an ACL. He always looks a talented player on the bits I've seen of him.
