  1. Also some seem to like to throw the entire club wage bill or annual losses into the first team squad wage bill instead of the other way around.
  2. You can have a wage structure that's fine that's understandable and i think we've had one since TM and Venus introduced one alongside Waggot. But rather than hard line it seemed more about ballpark figures where as long as you had a few on low wages the top end could be stretched for the odd player. Now its been mentioned that they just want 3 brackets of c1-3k, 5-7k, 7-10k but whatever your structure it's also about how you move people around within it. A player like Dolan for example (just using his name not exact figures) who has amassed over 100 appearances and become a mostly first choice starter on the bottom end of the wage bracket is entitled to expect to jump to the top bracket not just go up to the next bracket and get a 2 year deal with a years option. That seems to be an issue here.
  3. I doubt any club in this league pays all players the same it's impossible. We are paying Cantwell at least 20K pwk therefore by your definition Tronstad, Carter, and all the other established pros are asking for that as well. It's a nonsense excuse thrown around to deflect the low balling low wage model we now operate.
  4. Given what's now happened at the club and the lengths they've gone to in order to implement this latest 'model' i don't think they'll be raising the wages and transfer budget anytime soon. This is Suhail and friends dream child now to be run on the breadline however it should leave the club in the best financial situation its been in for a while. Well since last time they so called straightened the books then sat back and let Waggot/TM and co plod along.
  5. Rude boi and friend ain't having no woman telling em what's what !
  6. If the fine is 7 mill the 12 mill to Rovers will suddenly become 5 million then it's on to the January sales.....
  7. Carter, Pickering, Yuki if they all have a good first half of the season. Cantwell also.
  8. Well at least there shouldn't be any pressing need to sell anyone else in Jan...... πŸ€”
  9. Another huge Venky coincidence it gets removed a week after the window closes. You genuinely couldn't make it up but you could however have predicted it !
  10. But we only have 12k... We've always sold our best players.... It's all the fans fault.... 20 mill a year, just bad advice (since 2010 and counting...)
  11. Ismael will go through the motions then at some point in the next 6 to 18 months he'll get fixed up with a club in Saudi or somewhere that will pay him a nice salary and Rovers some compen. Or he'll end up coaching in India. We have an agents network sprouting out from this club again imo so keep a close eye on this.
  12. To read what other clubs fans post on their forums after they've been up here more than tells the story. Ewood itself and the Fernhurst actually rate highly but the rest of it tends to be a painful read if people have tried to make a day/night of it. A common thing to hear is being advised to stay in or near Preston or Manchester then just travel in for the game then fire off back around one of those places for the night. Blackburn loses millions a year now from having virtually zero night time economy which is shocking for a place of its size and the capital of East Lancs.
  13. Roughly translated as look we can only really pick shirt sellers so get yourself to a higher profile club so the FA can sell more England shirts with your name on the back.
  14. He seems to have got back the loop in recent times for some reason...
  15. Almost like we are comparing 10k+ a week players to 3-5k a week players......
  16. Why is Nixon obsessed with Blackburn Rovers academy kids ? The non stories he puts out aren't even newsworthy and rarely something you see in regards to other clubs academies. Almost as if he is trying to draw attention to our kids for some reason.......
  17. Blackburn Council = Don't want a nightlife, don't want a busy matchday crowd, don't want a thriving market. Do want - parking fines, mass house building, anything the ISSA brothers demand. Maybe if the club didn't invite so many away fans the problems wouldn't be as bad.
  18. They pretty much were in partnership that was the whole idea as stated they'd have their name over the door and the advertising leverage whilst Kentaro/SEM would cover everything else. Of course rules don't allow that kind of co ownership so a simple contract is drawn up instead to cover for it, so co owners no probably not but unofficial partners and maybe initial investors ? Yes very possible. As far as i know there was never any proof of that contract being terminated/paid off/expiring, just some rumours of an alleged court case and out of court settlement. More smoke and mirrors probably but why after that alleged event was some 3rd party bringing in the managers/head coaches and other staff certainly up until Mowbray/Venus/Waggot and co ? The links have remained very much alive imo just well buried now when stuff takes place as it does well away from the club itself who knows who is involved.
  19. I think we are about to find out.
  20. Wasn't Waggot the man who brought Eustace in ? From various rumours and hints it seems he had a problem with the rest of them behind the scenes and not particularly Waggot who was clearly being sidelined at that point. There has always seemed to be two factions wrestling behind the scenes at Ewood.
  21. I know you are taking the proverbial but i actually saw a post on faceache by a proper clown who was actually seriously saying something similar. Given he's a crackpot who defends everything they do it wasn't surprising but what was was the amount agreeing with him.
  22. I wonder if he's still registered as a player ?
  23. It isn't them it's the men in the middle benefiting constantly from their lack of interest and cack handed approach and they don't care. Basically third parties run this club for them by way of shadowman and his mates and every now and then they seem to get carte blanche. Probably Waggot kept a bit of a lid on it but that doesn't mean he himself and his pals didn't benefit also. That's football it's a murky world and when you have a 3 thousand mile or whatever it is void it becomes easy for the right people to sit in it.
  24. Agent gets commission for bringing him in then a bit more for loaning him out, then a bit more the next time he moves.
