Has Mowbray got any links to hearts?? Heres hoping. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50255905

The latest LET article reads as if it was written by Mowbray himself...blaming injuries in defence to the current downturn in form. Not the fact recruitment in that area has been woeful. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18004233.mowbray-need-short-break-not-permanent-one/

Agree were desperate for a change. Also agree that hes onto a cushy number with the board (who he helped select) and the Owners and therefore is unlikely the get the can anytime soon. Its wrong on all levels that a manager is under no pressure to perform because the board are essentially his mates. Disagree that the majority of fans want him to stay. Look at the poll on this site. 90% in favour of out.
-
I guess it depends how much mediocre management and abject performances you're happy to accept and for how long. If this forum with many hundreds of members is a snapshot of the fanbase I would disagree only 20% want him out. I've not seen any positives given in his support for quite a while. Maybe I am wrong and this is a forum full of extremists.

did any of the crowd make any Mowbray out noises at the end?

If hes not gone by Xmas I think well be relegated. Hes lost the plot and they players dont seem to be with him.

Spineless losers here for the paycheck. that's what happens with a team full of Journey men...starting with the manager

Evan's and Bennett CM. Wtf.... Its like a pub league team where the fat manager just picks his best mates from the pub. Shocker. If I was a Dack Travis Rothwell etc I'd be on to my agent.

Cunningham was only a last minute loan deal rather than a well scouted and shrew recruit. If we had owners who payed attention or a proper board, I could see a bad defeat tomorrow as his last game. With this lot I think hes pretty much immune, which likely explains the lack of pressure hes feeling over the form or lack of desire to rectify.

Hope someone manages to take a Mowbray out banner which gets picked up on the cameras. His quotes are becoming Keane esque. Cant see us getting much. Preston are a decent team that has cost far less than ours. Their striker Barkhausen was signed from my local side Morecambe for hardly anything. Hes scored more this year than Brereton and Gallagher combined have managed across two seasons. Chances of Bauer scoring from a corner whilst keeping a clean sheet?

Chapman has posted a bit of a cryptic instagram post today with a caption of just a thinking bubble. Get the impression hes sick of watching our 1st team being dog and still being no where near it.

1 shot on target against a team that have lost 4 out of 5. Not good enough. It's not been good enough for 12 months. Poor transfers, worse tactics and player selection based on who's his mate. Needs to go. Doubt the venkys were even watching. Please dont turn into a Keane/Coyle scenario Were also in a situation where weve got a very promising youth side. TM is not the man to develop them.

Anyone played the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare? I think you could play a Beta if you pre order on the PS4 network. Any opinions so far?

Raya is better than Walton -
Rankin Costello with two goals today against Palace u23s. Chapman with the other. Surely this lad should be knocking on the door for a first team appearance. Especially given the current injury problems. Chapman has also been in the goals recently. Cant be any worse than some of the currently 1st team. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/october/report-crystal-palace-pl-cup-a/

Logged on to the LET website today to see a big photo of Mowbray above the main article. My heart had a little flutter for a moment, thinking this may be the headline saying hes been sacked....turned out it was just more of his senile dribble. sigh.
-
Sadly I think this is exactly the case. In for a very hard period i think. Hope Nyambe comes back into the picture as his promising progress has come to an abrupt halt.

There is zero chance Mowbway is going anywhere. Him and Waggot are best mates and Venkys probably take no interest in results. The only way he would leave is if for some strange reason he gets poached by a bigger club. Houghton or Johnson from that list! Both would be a big improvement.

Anyone read Mowbrays latest interview with the LET? Some of his words just sum him up. Massively over thinking and over complicating everything to the point where the whole squad is either confused or has so many shackles added they don't perform. E.g referring to Lewis Travis having enough energy to be a good box to box midfielder: “If you give Lewis the licence to use his legs and athleticism and go box-to-box, break in to the opposition box and have a defensive-minded midfielder behind him then there’s no reason why not. “He can recover back in to midfield areas and help the midfield area function, but I think modern football in the 21st century has become more of a positional game “There are the two sitting midfielders, or one holding midfielder and two No.8s as they are called who play just behind the single striker and two wingers outside of them." WTF are you on about Tony? Play to your players strengths and keep it simple. If I was an up and coming youngster with bundles of energy and pace, he would be a terrible manager to play under. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/17956213.midfield-goal-tally-matched-no-drastic-change-says-mowbray/
