Just one goal would be a start....

Wigan Athletic (H) - Monday Night Football (urgh..)
benhben replied to a topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Keep the same formation and get at em. Don't think much needs to be said. I can see Rothwell being replaced for Downing on the wing and Bell keeping his place at LB. Other than that I think well see Evans, Dack, Graham, Armstrong back in. Nice problem for TM to have mind. A goal for Gallagher at the weekend would have really made it a tough choice. on the Wigan side is Mulgrew ineligible? Im assuming so. -
Bristol City (A) - Bradley Dack's Christmas Break

Amazing result. We would have all been well happy if you offered 4 points from Swans and Bristol away. 3rd in the form table. A good January and who knows. Credit to Lenihan this run started as soon as he came back from injury. -

Hold on for 45 mins and were 2 points off 3rd!!! Wouldn't have expected that two months ago! Goes to show things change very quickly in this league. A good January theres a chance of play offs here. -
Bristol City (A) - Bradley Dack's Christmas Break

on paper it's a shocker of a team...but watching us v Swansea they looked spent. Some needed a rest. Not sure who else we have in the squad. Chapman and Rankin costello but they played yesterday. -

Watching us V the Swans we looked very leggy, although so did Swansea. Think some of our squad may benefit from a rest. I have a bad feeling this will be a rest for the wrong players and we will see the likes of Bennett back in and Gallaher on the wing. Walton Nyambe Lenihan Tosin Downing Travis Holtby Armstrong Buckley Rothwell Gallagher -

Cant watch the game today but just reading the sky sports commentary it sounds like were being mullered -

just the start we needed against a team with fragile confidence! Keep at em rovers! -
Brereton in no way looks like a footballer. Tall, gangly and skinny without much pace. He looks more like someone who sits at a computer all day than an athlete. As others have said, will be interesting if TM sticks with the line up. Hoping Nyambe went off with fatigue other than anything more serious.

Brereton is a Gangly thing..doesnt look at all like a footballer. Midfield (in Evan's to be fair) have worked hard all game. -

WTF are we doing swapping Raya for Walton. hes literally 2 or 3 times better as a GK. Them two saves from Armstrong... Weve missed three great chances this half. Very worried well be talking of missed chances at the end. No faith Walton will save anything on target. -

I think hes just so immobile it takes him ages just to stand up. -

what a chance for Dack!!! Had all the time in the world there! That save from Raya shows the difference to Walton. so much quicker and agile. -

Brentford hit the bar off a free kick. Walton no where near it. Behrama looks a decent player -

Benrahma (or however its spelt) seems their danger man. We do look nervous when its anywhere near out box. -

Why is the camera so crap on this red button. Commentator is talking about stuff which the camera doesnt even point at. Was an injury for a minute or so and the camera was just left facing Walton while the commentator talked about it. Weird -

Rothwell best player by a mile so far. Good pass to Nyambe there too. -

I've found out how. You have to download and sign in to the skysports app not Skygo. you can then watch all red button games. Wont work on laptops only iPhone or android. -

Anyone watching this via skygo or online? How do you watch red button games on the app? -

Am I seeing things? Bennett on the bench?? If you swap Holtby for Evan's that's the side most people have been shouting for. Over to them to take their chance. -
I think that quote and article sum up the fact he feels no pressure what so ever from the board or owners. Sadly I think even with a relegation back to L1, Mowbray has feathered his nest to such an extent that he would still get no pressure from the board. A manager should never have a say in the appointment of board members, never mind be overly friendly with them. After raising optimism over the last couple of years it does feel like were slipping back to the Kean/Coyle days. Sigh,.

He has to go immediately after the game. The board and owners need to find some courage from somewhere and sack him even if he is their mate. We will be in league 1 unless we change very soon. Nothing will change though as Mowbray is mates with the board. No pressure no passion no performance.
