QPR Away / Mercer’s Wine Club

The annoying thing is that with this squad I could see a new manager coming in an instantly getting performances and better results. The saddest part its never going to happen until TM decides he wants to retire. Amazing to see the way Brentford play compared to us. Individually their squad isnt much better, just a club with more purpose and direction. -

Really is Groundhog day under Mowbray. Same turgid stuff week in week out, but you know the clubs hierarchy will never make a change. Happy to go along the Mowbray way. -

Raya with a howler at the start of the Brentford game. Got stuck and flapped at a set piece. Doesn't sound familiar.... -

Apart from Centre back the team is coming back to full strength....thats not to say all players are at top form, far from it. We need to find a way of including Dack. He may be quiet but along with Armstrong hes our most likely player to nick a goal in a tight game. Davenport should be a starter in CM from now on. Anyone managed to pick up a PS5 yet? Crazy how there is still no stock nearly 2 months after its release. Is it a noticable improvement over my PS4 pro? Only really play call of duty.

The Infrastructure he created was to surround himself with his mates and people he knows will never make a decision against him. That's why we can have week after week of dross with no pressure. A manager who looks on the verge of falling asleep on the touchline isn't a man under pressure. -

Honestly think another relegation wouldn't even get Mowbray to leave. It's no less corrupt that when Kean was here with his agent running the show. Hard to care anymore. -
Feck me....I've only gone and quoted a post from the first page. Jesus wept. I'll get my coat.....
-
I didn't actually compare him to kean, although the fact he handpicked the board and is therefore now under no pressure does bare similarities... The shock in my post was in reference to a previous poster (can't remember their name), "sacking Mowbray now would be a disaster" Cant get my head around that one
-
Are you mental??? Why would changing a terrible manager after 3 seasons of stagnation be a disaster? It's a sad sign of how far the club have fallen that some fans are happy to accept the current level the club is at.

Will another shocking performance finally break the owners patience with Mowbray......not a chance. Chushty number for all concerned. -
Such a shame there's no Rovers fans in the stadium. Surely there would be unrest amongst the stands by now. Mowbray will be telling the venkys all is well and there's nothing to show them otherwise.
-
The club is desperate a change in direction and manager. Any other owners or chairman would have had him out weeks ago. Unfortunately his best mate waggot and uninterested venkys won't put him under any pressure. Entering back into the kean era of an untouchable crap manager pulling all the strings. I'd have bilic in tomorrow.
-
Douglas, Gallagher, Buckley? The majority of players on the bench are the ones we've been saying have been shit for ages.
-
So hard to muster any emotion towards this rover side anymore..team full of journeymen and a manager that can be dog shit for months and months and never comes under any pressure as he's running the show. It's getting towards kean esque where the manager is also the director and chairman. So poor. Just hope the venkys finally pay attention at some point....

The biggest concern to me is how weak and fragile he looks. Every winger hes faces troubles him for pace, whilst in any 50-50 duels he is usually second best. I'm amazed he came with a decent reputation. Physically looks miles off....especially from the high tempo game Leeds used to play. Probably why hes deemed surplus to requirements. Whilst Bell is technically awful at least he can run and defend 1 on 1s. Agree if we can do it we should terminate the loan in January and look for another loan deal for a left back. No point in toiling with crap players if they are only loans.
