We’d be 100% better, that’s for sure. And one or two would be down the road. -

Butterworth looked really promising until he had that long term back injury. After that he wasn’t the same player. Having had disc trouble myself I’m not surprised. -

I blame them both. First rule of goalkeeping - do not parry a shot back into the danger area. -

Only Burnley could lucky enough to be the one team Coyle had any success with. -

If that would have been me the captain would have had me by the throat. Pathetic half hearted attempt at nothing. Some managers would have subbed him after that. -

I remember Brian Clough parading Ian Storey-Moore around the Derby pitch on the Saturday. He signed for Man U on the Monday ! -

He’s got none of the tools you need to be a striker. What’s he like in goal ? -

Like our midfield letting their guy walk through them to get the shot off. Who was it thinking - “ Shall I track back ? Nah, fuck it, I’ll let somebody else do that “. Typical I’m afraid. -

Just saying like it is. Nobody can lose you a game quicker than your keeper. He needs to get his act together. -

Only the Chicken Chokers. Lets put it this way - if by some miracle Big Sam rocked up at Ewood on Monday morning the derby game would take on another complexion all together. I’d actually fancy our chances. -

Why have we got so many players injured. I reckon that’s about half a team missing. -

Yes that true. You forgot about the guys giving you a good kicking and getting away with it. I’d been going to Rovers for two years before I saw a player get sent off. -

Yep, keeping Kean on after relegation was a bigger mistake than sacking Sam was. Indeed keeping Kean on after he very nearly relegated us the first time around was a bigger mistake than sacking Sam. It was downhill all the way once Kean was allowed to waste the parachute payments. -

If it’s another no show today do you think for one minute there will be any consequences ? Just business at usual on the training ground on Monday. Have them all in tomorrow for a bit of punishment training ? Why would we want them to do that. No sweat guys, just drift on to the end of the season. We’ve only just started on the “ journey “. To the hero’s going down today. I’ve got a hammer and some nails you can borrow. Just knock the nails through the back of your hand. It’s less painful. By the way how many “ unacceptable “ results have we had this season ? When does “ unacceptable “ really become “ unacceptable” ? -
Yeah, I thought that’s ten wins more than us. I can’t see that. After the latest no show at Rotherham I can now.

How is he better ? Raya is in the Spain squad. Kaminski can’t get in the Belgium squad. Is Kaminski worth £20 -25 million ? You must be in a minority of one thinking that. -

Mowbray made a complete balls up of the Raya situation. Then he followed it up by signing Walton. -

Dougie was a better dribbler and quicker over the ground than Tugay but he didn’t have the range of subtle passes that Tugay had. That ball to Jansen was a classic example. He had it on a string. He was up there with the best playmakers I’ve ever seen going from Didi, Di Stefano and Gerson, Ardiles etc back in the day and coming up to date a bit with Riquelme and Georgi Hagi. Having said that ball is easier and the pitches are infinitely better now than they were in Bryan’s day. -

Yeah it had back spin so it sat up for the striker to lob the keeper. Best passer of a ball I’ve ever seen at Ewood and I saw Dougie play when he was in his prime.
