Sometimes minor jobs can lead you a merry dance. I remember getting called out to a “ simple job “ on a radial arm drill. Broken taper pin in the elevating screw - an hour at the most. Broken bits out, new pin in. When I got the broken bits of pin out I discovered the elevating screw had been drilled through about 3 times and was really dangerous. Cut a long story sort what should have taken an hour took me exactly a week to complete !

Sounds like the square bar is slightly too long. Remove it and saw about 6mm off the end. I had a similar issue last year.

Him and Gestede are the two best headers of the ball I’ve seen at Ewood. Talking strikers of course. Mike England was the best header I ever saw. Being 6’3” with a great spring made him almost unbeatable.

Back in the day Gallagher would have never been a centre forward. He hasn’t got the tools. He’d have been a gangly, lower League, inside right.

Hedges isn’t a finisher. My mum could have put the one he missed at Leicester away. If you can’t score with a chance like that you aren’t going to score many.

Speedie would out jump either of Brererton or Gallagher.

If they weren’t happy to drift along like this season after season they’d have done something about it by now. It’s obvious to me.

Great little player. He would have got us up this season just like he did previously. How could you not want to bust a gut with him and Moran in the team ?

it’s the Lambert scenario being played out all over again.

He doesn’t work hard enough for me. The days of wingers standing out on the touchline waiting for a team mate to pass them the ball are over. They need to be much more involved on and off the ball.

I’ve watched Morris quite a lot over the years - he was always a busy hardworking physical forward who’d run all day. But having to shoulder the burden of leading the line meant he was a bit of a blunt instrument. However putting another guy up there with him to share the work means he’s become much more dangerous in front of goal. For me there’s a lesson there.

He’s gone back to the sort of form we saw when we first signed him. Completely ineffectual. One of the weakest 6 footers I’ve ever seen.

They’ve decided on a simple but effective system of play and recruited the players to play it. Two strikers ! Yeah I like that very much. You increase your chances of scoring massively. Then you look at Rovers trying to football their way out of the division without the players capable of playing that way.

Millwall will be another 1-1 draw so it’s over for the foreseeable future. This was the season to do it and we’ve blown it good and proper.
