That’s crazy. For that sort of money I’d want a player who’s going to be a match winner not somebody who’s on the periphery of the team.

It was interesting to hear Kevin Gallagher comments regarding the first goal. He reckoned that even the footballing dogs in the street know our central midfield drop too deep in defence. When I played central midfield we always had a defensive player in or around the “ D “.

I’d swap their manager for Mowbray any time.

He’s never had a 90 minute team in all the time he’s been here. Even when we got promoted we only played 30 minutes out of the 90 most of the time.
