He's a luxury player. The sort of player that needs the other players to get on top in the game before he can do his stuff. If he was playing for another team I'd say he was a " Show Pony ". I know he plays in a different position but he's another Per Frandsen.

I agree regarding future funding. I wouldn't give him another penny He's spent £12 million on two players we'd be lucky to get a tenth of that for now.

Yeah, he was what I call " 7 out of 10 " player. He was rarely the man of the match but more rarely was he the worst player on the team. Steady and composed on the ball and with an excellent temperament.

You can't predict how young players will turn out, especially when they've only played a handful of games between them. At one point I thought Tiny Taylor and Johanneson were going to be our centre half pairing for years and look what happened to them. I would suggest that both of those two had more potential than Buckley and Rankin-Costello.
