The trick is to keep talking and keep moving. -
I've had some success with " Wall " and now and again I get one of the questions, especially if music is involved, but 90% of the time I'm left scratching my head.

I suppose a lot of people have got used to the football we've been subjected to in the chicken chokers reign. Expectations are rock bottom for a lot of supporters. -

Next to goalkeepers centre halves " mature " latest. I wouldn't write Wharton off without seeing him play. Get him up against Brereton in training, he'll look like Mike England. -

He's operating at a level above our guy, that's for sure. -

I'm expecting them to finish well above us now. -

I wouldn't agree there. Lambert and his two assistants whose names I've forgotten ( was Rob Kelly one ? ) was the most logical appointment they've made. Mowbray was a forgotten man when we appointed him. -

I think it's time you re-instated the usual " Relegation Thread " Jim. -

I've known guys like that, they have the happy knack of moving onwards and upwards just before they get found out. -

If he ever gets to be half as good as Trevor Francis he'll be some player. That's just ridiculous. -

I'd like to have another look at him, let's see what he's learnt in his loan period. -

You missed out Platt and Grayson from our very long roster of up and coming centre halves. I'm sorry but I'd swap another John MacNammee for all of them at the moment. Maybe that's the master plan to avoid conceding too many goal - play seven at the back, all centre halves. -

It's disgraceful that this can happen to a football club. Do the football authorities accept no responsibility at all for this situation ? -
If you read what Mowbray had to say before the game it's no wonder we lost.

We can't play against teams who put a foot in and give us the " hurry up ". -

Is he ever ? -
As I saw it he would have been behind Lenihan Abbi, Mulgrew, Williams, Wharton, Platt, Magloire and Grayson at the start of the season. That makes him 9th in line. So no surprises he looked lost.

I find watching the best players in the world playing the possession based game at 'City ultimately bloodless and pretty unexciting although you can't fault the results. It does leave me wondering how good they'd be let off the leash and playing a more conventional and direct style of football ? However the sight of the second rate journeymen we have at the moment playing that way sends me to sleep. Just look where a team of first rate journeymen are not far from here. They seem to be doing ok coming second in terms of possession in most games. -

We can give teams a game if they let us play football, as long as they aren't too good at it. We can't give teams a game who come for a dogfight as witnessed last night and on many other occasions. You have to be able to fight for the right to play football and obviously we can't. Nowhere near enough bastards in his signings and too many he sees as son in law material. -

The way things are going If you offered me 12th next season I think I'd take it now, -
Butterworth has/had a " back injury ". Having a back injury that lasts for such a long period isn't a good sign. Disc trouble can sometimes be a friend for life, especially if it doesn't clear up quickly. Like you I was expecting him to be knocking on the door this season, he looked a real prospect.
