  1. Given our current position, what the fuck could we even offer in 'add ons'? Especially to bridge a 3.5m difference in valuation 🤣 I mean a team up the top end of the table can stick a promotion wedge in there but that's obviously not an option. He's not going to get an England call up. Probably leave appearances/goals and potentially a sell on clause if he's any good. Never happening.
  2. Said this many times and he's nowhere near a prem player. Very one dimensional BUT we've missed him because for all the wayward balls there's more useful ones than we've been putting in recent weeks....
  3. Absolutely stinks of that Thomas cunt whatever he’s called who’s always ranting on in similar vein on facebook……
  4. What were the police figures for Charlton and Oxford? Genuine question not a criticism, I salute anyone who's trying. We're being widely mocked on social media, as expected....
  5. His only good spell in the Championship was at Barnsley, the other 3 spells awful. Even with the Barnsley job though it wasn’t football as we know it, it was the weird Covid season with either no fans or barely any. Aside from that his success has been at LASK in Switzerland and 2 spells in the lower leagues in Germany. Not sure todays result does us much good at all as it probably buys him more time whilst not helping our points tally either. Time to go.
  6. Ohashi is getting progressively worse, not sure if it’s confidence, if he’s burnt out or what. He hasn’t always been this poor at finishing but he’s becoming a wasteful liability. Crying out for Gudjohnsen back and Yuki will be a useful sub no doubt, until then we have a problem and no obvious solution, unless of course we actually sign someone….
  7. As empty as it looked, I expected it to be worse. Suppose we’ve become used to it always looking empty now though so not much impact today sadly. Worth a try, not particularly successful though.
  8. Oxford was the same, not that its much consolation as we should be beating both those teams........
  9. Only person I know that's going (and I'm in multiples WhatsApp groups etc) is my dad and FIL with his mates. There's 100% going to be a noticeable difference today. Cue the dingles and other twats on socials saying "iT lOoKs LiKe ThAt EvErY wEek LoL" but it is what it is.....
  10. I actually think we'll win today. We'll have comments about how it helped not having the toxic protesters in the stadium and Val will say "see we've got a few injured players back, we can compete now!". I mean to a certain extent we have missed some of the injured/absent players, mainly Alebiosu and I think we will look a bit better with him back. Realistically we can't get much worse right? 2-1 home win after falling behind early on.
  11. He's essentially given out numbers for Rudy, Suhail and Yasir. Confirmed he's not a Rovers fan but very much anti venkys. He also dropped a hint saying his team was a similar shirt just red and white. Thinking about that comment, Feyenoord immediately springs to mind. This person is clearly an ex employee who hates venkys and their cronies. We have an ex manager who left on bad terms and has Feyenoord links, or am I reading way too much into it? 🤔
  12. He was at a premier league club? Signed for Brondby earlier this month so won’t be returning thankfully.
  13. Of course he was, still is! If you don't agree with that then yes the convo is over. Whilst he pissed a lot of fans off towards the end of his tenure at Ewood, you won't hear anyone in the wider football world speak badly about Tony. A likeable character, an ex defender too, of course clubs were happy to loan young defenders to him. Liverpool were happy to lend him highly rated Harvey Elliott, ask him what he thinks of Mowbray......
  14. I have, have you noticed that we had a well respected manager when THB and Tosin were loaned to is or did it completely pass you by? The club now undoubtedly has less draw than when Mowbray was here and its clear for anyone with a slight interin football to see.
  15. Exactly! In the past! They ain’t gonna entertain dealing with Rudy and the current shit show.
  16. You would have thought we’d have a decent relationship with City given their location. I’m willing to bet they don’t really want their youngsters coming to take part in the Ewood circus though. They invest a lot of time in tracking their progress and have clearly got wind of what a mess we’re stuck in. Brighton seemingly happy to send players up though.
  17. Probably. Can you imagine him even taking a phone call from Rudy serious though?
  18. I agree, it would never be a sensible replacement if RG is picking the next manager (if VI ever goes). The very best we can hope for is a gamble on a cheap, young, up and coming manager and it actually pays off with them being decent. I'm not saying that's what we need, we need an experienced manager who can get the best out of limited resources and boost morale. At this point though, it can't really get much worse than VI given his awful record.....
  19. Past caring now to be honest, probably for the best we go down.
  20. He hasn't played 90 minutes in any champions league games. Most he's played is 69 mins against Sturm Graz but that was in August....he got 20 odd minutes against Dortmund early December. Played 70 odd minutes in a friendly last week days before he signed though.
  21. I watched Arsenal, Newcastle and Villa and all 3 games were dreadful. Was also fleetingly watching Feyenoord v Sparta and it was another level of entertainment. Goals, vociferous fans and controversy. Never thought I'd say it but I'm bored shitless of football on these shores.
  22. Poor do when even Nixon can't be arsed making something up and the usual ITK bullshitters
  23. I can actually see VI picking the exact same team as yesterday. That being said I fully expect a few 'injuries' to surface. Not actual injuries, just players who completely cannot be fucked playing for this clown any longer so fake something. Always happens with struggling teams. Not hard to imagine the exact same result either, Swansea aren't as good as Ipswich though so I'll go for a 2 nil home win.
  24. Genuinely may as well play with 10 rather than shove Henriksson up top time and time again. It's actually unfair on the player too now because he's just beating the little confidence he must have right out of him, he cannot play there and a blind man could see it. He's still fairly young, he needs time out the first team and coaching properly in his preferred position. One thing that's glaringly obvious is that VI is stubborn, if he thinks he can make something work he will stick to it, even when it's badly failing. Even Mowbray realised the Bradley Johnson false 9 idea was wrong and binned it off. When the chips are down you need a motivational coach, not a stubborn clown. He has to go.
  25. I turned it off at 2 nil. I never used to do that but it was all so fucking obvious, again. I keep going into games thinking it can't be as shit as last week, unfortunately it keeps on being as shit as last week. The boycott will certainly have gained traction today I would have thought. We aint got a cat in hells chance at Swansea on Tuesday either. It not just losing games that's making me mad, it's failing to do the fucking basics! Absolutely blows my mind how for the first goal there was no awareness from Cashin and presumably no shout from his keeper or team mates, or did he just ignore them? The second goal was horrific too, McLoughlin wasn't even watching the ball at all. No idea on the 3rd because as I say it went off at 2, I washed the cars instead, it was literally more enjoyable. The only potential solution to this mess (short term anyway) is to pot VI. He's clueless, the players appear to dislike him. Yes he has been dealt a shit hand but it's inexcusable the way we're playing. I hate to say it but this is Kean territory of shitness. Get him fucking gone.
