  1. Home tie against a prem team confirmed later, Leeds I think
  2. Fair play for trying but sorry I fail to see much impact from this. Surely the bulk of sales are on kids sizes? Kids are still going to want them, unless they've lost interest over the past year or so. I do wonder though who's name kids would get on the back or their shirt right now, not many heroes out on that pitch especially with Dack sidelined and Armstrong probably off 🤔 When I was a kid it was bloody hard choosing just 1 player! Then you'll get the usual Facebook Mowbrayites etc and people who want to wear their colours on a sun lounger in Benidorm - should restrictions ease anyway. Not sure the financial impact of a few people off BRFCS making a vow not to purchase one, how many off here even do anyway? An on the pitch protest is the only way for me I'm afraid, obviously that's a bit more intimidating though to most! In theory you don't need huge numbers to disrupt a game of football - 1 person can for a brief period.
  3. None of the European ties were great at home, but made for some great away trips and glad I was able to attend some. I nearly lost my bloody job queuing for tickets at something daft like 6am for the Celtic away tie, I'll still never understand how we didn't win that night either! Less said about the return home leg the better.
  4. Well as he's alluded to playing a few youngsters that's probably the only reason I'll watch the game. Its probably going to give an idea as to how the team may look next season given the departures......
  5. Trybull would definitely have scored a few more points had he stayed fit I feel, liked him a lot but frustrating how he is seemingly made of glass. Would love a full season of HB if at all possible although I suspect it won't be.
  6. Fair play those of you who bothered today. Sounds like I missed a classic. I went Blackpool instead with the family, and I hate Blackpool but the kids love it, regardless it was still a better option than watching the game.
  7. Weather looks nice tomorrow, fair play to anyone watching but I most certainly won't be. Score I'd go for 0-0.
  8. Oh I'll be there alright, with the sole intention of driving him out 👍
  9. When does his current contract actually expire do we know? November? IF he was still at the helm and IF fans are allowed back in then he wouldn't even last that long in the new season. Sitting in a dugout in an empty stadium is a different proposition to having I dunno even 8 thousand fans expressing their views. His next job, if he even gets one is league 1 or below at a much lower rate of pay. As much as I want shut, he's not stupid and he knows that. I don't even want to think about the prospect of a new contract 😕
  10. How old is he? Perhaps another part of the reason is the non-attendance. All football is at the moment is a bloody TV show and it has been for the last year. I have never in all my years wanted a season to end, I'm literally gutted usually and thinking of ways to fill my weekends. This season however I just want it over and done with. Hoping for a new manager, some new players of course, well we MUST be getting some of those given the numbers departing right? Most of all though hoping to be back at the grounds. Football is more than just results, it's more than a manager who's a bit of a nob making us want to smash the TV screen, it's the togetherness of standing side by side with supporters of this famous old club. Just imagine how different relegation battles and promotion dog fights would be right now with fans there, doesn't really affect us right now after last night's result but it'll have such an impact. Get this sexless marriage of a season out the way and hope for good news on the horizon 👍⚽️
  11. How good did the pitch look this evening by the way, compared to the absolute bog it became. It does of course mean they won't bother relaying it now though (if they ever genuinely were going to). Hats off to the ground staff.
  12. Phew. Christ we needed that and I feared the worst after we went behind. Never see such an uninterested team when they're facing the threat of relegation as in that first half. Harwood Bellis was excellent tonight, he is light years ahead of Branthwaite. Perhaps to be expected when City are so much better than Everton. Kaminski much more like himself after his poorest game for us last week. Get Mowbray out the door now, pat him on the back for keeping us up (😒). Give a new manager a chance to see who he wants to hold onto in the few remaining games for next season. Of all the teams below us I'd prefer Derby to go down, for purely selfish reasons- it's a shit away day and I want to go to the Ricoh at some point.
  13. A draw, and more importantly perhaps scoring 2 goals ain't too bad an effort and dare I say I quite enjoyed the second half. Battering the woodwork though is perfect ammo for a Mowbray super spin. I think we need to beat Derby next week to stay up tbh although Rotherhams big week could change my opinion. I might go supping some draught ale with a massive coat on instead though.
  14. Interesting. I think a drop to league 1 would be far more catastrophic this time though given the already stretched finances and the squad we'd be left with. I understand the apathy, just think we desperately need to stay in the championship for the future of the club.
  15. “They watch the games, we all get disappointed when the final result is a defeat, but they watch the games and if they can see some light, where the team is trying to go, see the journey this team is on then they have to make a call. That’s all. He actually said that, the fucking journey talk again. Nope, not having it, he's deliberately winding us up now or daring them to give him the boot.
  16. He's had a stinker the ref for that goal, could end up being so crucial too.
  17. Usually even when you play shite you find a positive or 2 to take from the game. Nope, literally nothing at all from that. I keep saying I won't bother watching the next game, yet usually do. Well the next game can do one, literally no interest whatsoever. We'd probably have around 5k in the ground at the moment, maybe less.
  18. He's gonna make around 6 changes here I feel, such a Mowbray thing to do. We'll also scab a 1-1 draw.
  19. Jesus, just read through the last few pages on here, then we wonder why we are so divided 🤣 The demographics of our supporter base varies so much its always going to be difficult to engage everyone and get them singing from the same hymn sheet. This is why, in my opinion of course, the only way you'd EVER get much bigger (effective) numbers for any form of protest is to involve someone we all look up to. Just imagine if we had Tugay behind us. I know it's pie in the sky stuff unfortunately but that's what we need.
  20. Milan wanted Grabbi at the time we signed him, possibly a few other Italian teams. There was a lot of corruption around at the time and his career in Italy basically became untenable. I can't recall the exact detail but I don't think he ever really wanted to come to England, more a case of being forced.
  21. I was gonna say the same, Neill was great. Quite frankly a dirty bastard but he got the job done. Christ we're crying out for that kinda player right now
