Very, very lucky to get away without that penalty decision yesterday, fair play VK for admitting it should have been given. On the plus side its never a completely bad thing seeing Ince upset. Get them balls in behind and they can't hack it, Diaz especially is made for the game on the 13th, press the dodgy keeper into mistakes and we walk away with an easy 3 points.

I think Hull fans are very much in favour of the new owners aren't they? Attendances picked up after they took over (against us first game). You do have to wonder what impact new owners would have on our crowds.... -

Almost spot on 🤨 Surprised how little Hull threatened us really, but that's perhaps at least partly down to the relentless press from every man in blue and white. The players are really buying into the JDT philosophy and it's starting to show. Mr Dack hats off, worked his damn socks off and will 100% have thrown his hat in the ring to be involved more now. Szmodics again a warrior, Vale too doing bits. Travis did well for the most part although went wandering out of position a few times. Ayala looked like he'd never been away from the team the beast. Scotty as reliable as ever when called upon, Hyam too. If you had to pick fault today it would be Gallys finishing, Diaz looking a bit tired and some silly showboating by the young lads in midfield, that's being picky though, I'm happy as F. -

It's a massive test this one, especially with Hedges and Brittain being out. Hull are capable of banging a few goals in as they've shown in recent games. Despite the above I'm going for a nervy 1-0 away win and soiled undies all round. Sam Gallagher the scorer. -
You shouldn't HAVE to sign up to a ridiculous 'membership scheme' just to get a particular away ticket. Its quite simply a Waggott scam to milk an extra sum of money from our fans, knowing full well a decent number will lap it up because they really want a Burnley ticket. Its just de-valuing the benefits of a season ticket as well! Which, as we know are already expensive. I'm not a tight arse but refused to pay it, i was however one of the lucky ones who managed to get a ticket this morning. We're now in a position that if we're in the same league next season more people would probably reluctantly sign up to the joke of a membership scheme to avoid the mad scramble/disappointment of missing out next time. You might have been prepared to bend over and part your cheeks to let Waggott dry bum you, many weren't.

I take it all back, after half an hour of trying I've finally got a ticket 🥲
-
Yep it's goosed, exactly as expected though. They've got the whole process wrong from the start just so Waggott pockets an extra wedge of cash, utter disgrace.
-
Hanley gifted them the win. Another time I've watched them and been far from impressed. Nothing to fear, bring them on.
-
Only way their tickets will get restricted at all is if plod get a say. Policing our lot in lower numbers on a day there's no trains will be a hell of a lot easier than bigger numbers of them left to their own devices.
-
I'd much prefer it if they'd left us to have a free for all at the ticket office for the remaining tickets! Is what it is though, fingers crossed.

I'm only going off what was posted on here. Any ideas what time they'll be available online from? Am I staying up till midnight or will they be live for like 9am do we think?
-
So I take it we've made it to phase 3? Didn't expect it at all but guess I can still potentially get a ticket if it does.... No idea how the website will cope though if its online sales only?

Yeah he didn't sound awfully positive on Hedges, it'll be a huge blow if he's out for any period of time. I didn't really expect to be saying that this time last year when Mowbray never played him but here we are.... -
It's not really a majority though is it? There were people calling for JDT to leave after Wigan..

Rovers…Are We Any Good ?
Ossydave replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Its still relatively early, there's been many good things but also some really bad and concerning ones. Wigan was horrific, Cardiff not much better - annoyingly against 2 terrible teams as well. I think we look much fitter as a team, training is no longer a Mowbray kick about and it's showing. Led to believe he's not quite the smiley laughing cheeky chappy we see in interviews all the time though and can be pretty strict. Defence looks better, 6 clean sheets it's second highest in the league, our shit shows against Reading and Sheff Utd have left a dent in the goal difference though! Huge credit for the improvement sits with Hyam. Admittedly was a little dubious about the signing, he's more than proven me wrong though. We've got a few more dress rehearsals to go now until THE big one. The result of that will go a long way to influencing folks opinion. On paper it's looking like a real battle and certainly not for the faint hearted. -
Who do you think?
-
Apparently due to his missus on social media and something she posted? It's a difficult situation. Dack is well liked by fans, not sure JDT realises that fully. On the other hand I hate players and their associates posting on social media. 2 grown men, sort it. Doesn't appear to be having a negative effect on the other players.

Delighted with that, is it me or is every game that little bit more tense this season with that claret shower in the same league? Didn't realise just how good the Wharton goal was until seeing the replay, cool as a cucumber. To say we were all worried about midfield options pre season, we're truly blessed. I do think Trav is a bit on edge knowing this though. -

Often struggle to have a shot on target? Course we do 🤣 Either on the wind up or don't know what often means. -
IF they have had a bust up, and it's still a big if I would say....these things happen all the time in football. If Dack wasn't frustrated about a lack of game time then he wouldn't be bloody human. None of us know what goes on at Brockhall though, it's easy/lazy speculation based purely on Dack not playing. I imagine JDT is getting sick of the constant Dack questions though, much like he was with Brereton ones before the window closed. If we keep winning games the focus on Dack becomes less apparent, if we lose and we're not creating enough chances or scoring enough goals then focus shifts back to Dacks absence. The fact he didn't even make the bench on Tuesday says either the bust up rumours have some weight, or he's playing a full 90 for the U21s tomorrow....
