Is he bollocks. He's 26 and spent his career in poor Scottish teams and league 1, that tells you all you need to know. -

We had a blatant free kick on Garrett waved away right on the edge of the Sunderland box not long before the penalty claim as well, so may well have been in front before the incident. Shoulda/Woulda/Coulda. -
Sam Szmodics-Your thoughts?

I'm more on about your mocking of Szmodics. I'm a Dack fan and definitely do not want to see him leave. Szmodics is fast becoming an important player for us though with his intense pressing, I'm sorry but I just don't see Dack offering that. Dack could be a key asset when struggling to unlock defences though and still believe he's got the knack of being in the right place right time to score. His missus bleating on social media ain't really doing him any favours though. -

Seems the brief is simple, score first and we win the game! This is shaping up to be one hell of a roller coaster season. If we go 2 up we're happy to invite pressure and go for the jugular on the counter. It worked at weekend and again tonight, but better teams will test us more you feel. On the flipside though with Diaz especially powering forward we're always good for another goal. Risky and not for the faint hearted but most certainly not dull! The bigger test of course comes when we DON'T score first, we really need to address that. Other positives include a good performance from Brittain despite being out of position, he needs to start every game. Hyam was excellent again, captain material for me especially when you look how few games historically he misses in a season, look out Travis. Also look out for Mr Garrett who had a good debut and got stuck in, loved it. Let's just hope this form continues going into that small matter of a derby game in a few weeks time 🔵⚪️ -
Another masterstroke to piss off season ticket holders whom are thin on the ground as it is. You shouldn't need a pissing 1875 club membership to get priority on tickets, sorry but it's a joke and it's a con, pure and simple.
-
Literally the only game it will be needed for is the Burnley one, so they're fleecing fans for 10/15 pounds just so they can get a Burnley ticket. If you bother with official travel that's another 10 pounds on top too. Maybe I should have just bought it but the stubbornness in me decided against it, as a result I'll be missing my first derby game sadly unless they somehow make phase 3 of the sales.
-
Yes I'm aware it exists, I don't agree with being ripped off and basically paying £40 for one game though. Its simply wrong. It should have been done based on season tickets and away tickets, there's gonna be people there who probably won't even attend another away all season!
-
Well basically if you don't have 1875 membership you're screwed. Bit of a V sign to fans like myself who've been most away games.
-
Looks like I probably won't be going in November looking at the ridiculous phases for tickets. Didn't bother paying to join the 1875 rip off.

He was one of our best players yesterday, put in a superb shift. Take it you didn't go? -
Perspective, you banged a few past Wigan and Swansea (we managed 3 past the latter away). Possession? Yeah we'll done on that 🤣 When I've watched your games you've been largely ineffective with the Possession you have, it's just an opinion. I think your keeper is garbage too, again my opinion.
-
Based on what? They haven't looked particularly good when I've seen them, granted they've only lost 1 mind! I think its more testament to how topsy-turvy the league is especially this season, we've won the most games and there's Reading in the top 6 with a -5 goal difference! I thought Sheff Utd were the best team we've played so far but they're struggling at present, it's absolutely wide open.

He scored a similar one against Boro last season I think? We really are a pain in the backside for them, we're like Wigan are to us. -

Tony will get a clap from me. We really need to break the W L W streak though, can't see any reason why we won't either. I can see a few goals here too 3-2 home win. -

Agreed, wasn't sure about the signing initially, purely because I knew little about him, but he's turned put to be a real asset. -

Ffs he got some chants about he should have stayed at the rovers, it was nothing more than a bit of banter. Good riddance too. -

Hirst has looked beyond useless he really has. That said, when the team isn't really creating chances there's only so much you can do. He hasn't come deep hunting for the ball though or trying to carve teams open, just ran about looking like a lost boy. IF we had crosses being whipped in to him, there's a chance he might look better. For now though he looks unsuited to how we want to play so you have to question why Gregg has presented him to JDT as a striking option. On a plus note folks I'm going today and we've never lost at the Riverside when I've gone which must be 5 or 6 times now. You'll have me to thank later when we bring home the points after a much better away performance 😎 -

It's impossible to believe we'll have the same game plan as vs Cardiff and Wigan, erm isn't it? There's been some poor performances and naive decisions so far under JDT, but I'm not writing him off and slitting my wrists just yet. Dack simply has to be involved for at least 45 mins or fans are going to keep voicing opinions and showing frustration, especially if we're not performing. I'd also like to see Markanday get some minutes. In the cup games and u21 games he's been decent. Hirst doesn't seem much better than Chris Brown up to now so he can't start. -

Let's hope we put in a Swansea/Blackpool type away performance rather than some of the tripe we've also served up on the road. With 2 aways on the bounce nows the time to perform. The 2 home games that follow are most certainly winnable so we could be sitting pretty at the right end of the table come November. Wigan have done a bit better than I expected and picked up some decent results, they have however got a pasting of Burnley and Cardiff under their belts at home this season. Let's hope we can perform and put our recent dreadful record at their place well and truly behind us. -

We're gonna be dogshit and lose this and be awful aren't we? 🤣 No way he's gonna pick the same team, but I'm not against Brittain getting a run out or maybe Dack or A Wharton. Even Markanday who seems to have been forgotten about. The only person who 100% should never be dropped, if fit, is S Wharton. -

He's becoming a utility player which makes it all the more baffling that TM didn't wanna use him. Unless he got caught balls deep in a lemon drizzle at half time I'm not sure why the last gaffer didn't rate him. POTS up to now for me. -

Sadly I don't think we'll be in contention for promotion. But neither were the likes of Farke or Corberan 1st season. We'll be frustrated a lot this season, we'll also be elated. I hate the word transition but.... I don't think the Mowbray journey talk is comparable to JDT personally. There's some significant differences. One was a fella after his last big pay cheque, one is a youngish manager still learning the ropes looking to further establish an already good managerial career. -

On Dack, has he ever looked like he's a bundle of energy? I would say not, BUT he's an intelligent player and can pick the right passes and pop up in the right place to score, much like he did on Tuesday. It's my main gripe with JDT so far, IMO of course, he isn't past it, nor have his legs given up on him, it's how Dack is and we should be accommodating him in the team. When one of our best players and fans favourite is being left out it means the players in his place need to impress more than ever, if they don't then frustrations will continue to grow.
