  1. Usually pushed straight into the boozer then bussed to the ground at Leeds these days
  2. Mowbray isolating and won't be there today apparently. Closest we're gonna get to a new manager is Venus taking charge 🙄
  3. Has a post on the official twitter ever got 10k likes, nevermind the current 13.4k for Brereton Diaz? We'd probably sell more shirts in Chile than England 😳
  4. I imagine it's quite the opposite at some clubs with many having a "can't wait to get back in the ground" attitude too. Such is the general apathy to our club right now though I doubt there's many with that mindset in our fanbase. I am in a way looking forward to getting back in the stands but it's pretty difficult to justify a season ticket. It'll be another season of picking and choosing games for me. I'll struggle to make midweek games for starters and there no need to have a season ticket to secure away tickets for high profile games any more. I'm not precious about securing a set seat as I'll sit near enough anywhere in the Bburn end, it's never hard to get a decent seat buying on match day. On top of that as I've already said I'm expecting a lot of disruption next season due to covid, but that's just an additional factor in my decision rather than the main reason.
  5. I've absolutely no confidence in the season being a normal one. Only tonight Arsenal have called off their pre season tour due to some positive cases. I don't want to sound like that negative guy but the way things are going postponed games will be plentiful again next season. I'm sure that element of doubt must be in other people's minds too and perhaps influencing some people's decision. Even if games are on the rates round here are gonna mean people missing games through isolation etc too.
  6. Not missed any point. Read your first sentence, realise you're wrong then you wind your little neck in 😁
  7. What are you even talking about? Do you just pluck this stuff out your backside? Ben White had a stint at posh on loan, hadn't even represented England at any youth level yet would only go to someone 'knocking on the door'? Pereira spent most of his career in Sportings reserves and pretty sure he got relegated in Germany prior to his baggies move on loan. In short, you're wrong again.
  8. Loans are absolutely crucial to a club our size IF we were to mount a promotion challenge. The likes of Ben White and Pereira 2 obvious recent examples of key players who helped their adopted clubs to promotion. If we're to piss about around mid/lower half of the table again though not sure what the point is, unless we're that bad we need bodies to keep us in the damn league.
  9. If football clubs, on anywhere else for that matter accept showing them a text from the NHS as proof of a negative test there's really no point bothering and I understand that's what Fylde did. I have genuine texts and it's SO easy to just edit this for the relevant date etc.
  10. Leeds tickets out, 15 quid a pop for adults. Riverside seemingly closed.
  11. If you went off last season alone, Wyke looked a decent player. But that wasn't his first season there and his career has been spent at a pretty poor level. Avoid for me
  12. That would have been some goal! What a shame its over for Chile now, its been an enjoyable distraction following Ben's International journey and it can surely only have done him the world of good 👍
  13. Doubt it's anything to do with his agents, journalists just putting stories out there because Isak is likely to leave Sociedad.
  14. Yeah I don't think our recruitment will spread as far as signing players from Brazilian leagues for one minute, just an observation they link up well and that I can't see our Sam replicating it.
  15. If I was unfortunate enough to support PNE I wouldn't even be that arsed about paying that price for 1 game a season, it's what an extra tenner maybe on a more reasonable price? We are of course their cup final, have they seen how much tickets cost at Wembley? 🙄 They'll all end up paying it too, home fans however definitely won't.
  16. We need to sign Vargas to partner him up top next season. Despite the obvious language barrier they seem to be building a good understanding. Instead we'll have Sam bumbling about like a semi tranquilized pony.
  17. More interested in tonight's game than Englands tomorrow personally after watching that shit show on Friday!
  18. Has there been any mention in regards to kick off times next season? Not entirely season ticket related but would sway my decision. 6pm kick offs would be an absolute no chance after work, I struggle to make 7:45pm ones. Assuming 6pm will be binned off IF covid clears up a bit?
  19. I've got the 'homecoming' at Ewood after we won the league somewhere on vhs filmed by my old man who was in a box with LG for it
  20. It's been like that for the past 10 years or so now. A toxic, fragmented fan base. I think it's actually so bad at present I'm not even sure if new owners or a manager could fix it.
  21. Well they looked 100 times better than England
  22. Yeah same prices or circa £230 if you're entitled to a discount after getting a season pass last season
