  1. Let Venkys know your thoughts here: http://venkys.com/?page_id=1723 Flood them for as long as it takes.
  2. I would pay for this, but only question is in any way shape or form does it help Venkys? Do they benefit at all, in any way, in signing up for this ? If they do get any plus from this, its not worth it.
  3. The only real hope is Brum not doing better than a draw, and us winning. If not, then we will have to win by several goals to make up the goal difference vs Forest. Roller-coaster of death is on.
  4. While I certainly agree with the observations, I suppose I have lost all energy when it comes to putting hope that the FA will do anything right by us. They have turned a complete blind eye to the entire downfall of the past few years; it is beyond hoping that they will start caring now, all because Huddersfield played their reserves.
  5. Us or Brum then. Feels like a penalty shoot out, with Brum up by one. They win tomorrow, and that's that.
  6. Yeah, that's all she wrote then. Brum are not going down, they'll get at least one win with Harry Redknapp. Needing something close to a miracle here. My only refuge in all of this is that my brain is still not fully processing all that is happening to us. I dread the moment that it does.
  7. ......so when the "worst nightmare joke" turns into real life.... Is there anything to be said any more? Is there anything to be done?
  8. Incredible comeback from England there, with two sensational goals by Vardy and Kean. And arguably the best striker, Sturridge, didn't even start. And Walcott and Welbeck are top class too in my books. And so what a tragedy it will be when all this gets sacrificed for the slow, boring, predictable, sluggish, hopeless play around Rooney, who in his wildest dreams will never match the effectiveness of Kean and Vardy tonight. And even worse is Sterling, who has pace but nothing else, can't score on a barn door. How can Hodgson possibly ever justify holding back the above-mentioned 5 in order to play his favorite useless duo of Rooney and Sterling is beyond me.
  9. Who exactly do you think is coming? Messi? Pogba? Or Mr. Random 32 year old released by Blackpool who has never shown he can kick a ball straight? Because the latter is who we keep getting over and over again these past few seasons.
  10. Beautiful, the referee today in Sweden vs Portugal is Howard Webb. Webb has the chance to redeem himself for being the worst Premiership referee in history (and of course the FA's favourite) by sending off Ronaldo in the 1st minute and awarding 3 penalties to Sweden. This is the chance to get back at Portugal for all the dirty tricks they've played knocking England out over the last few tournaments.
  11. A fat Benni is still better than Heskey or Beattie or Benjani. Just saying. Evidence: his match for us vs Chelsea in the Carling cup last season.
  12. stunning achievement for Fulham, though it seems like the Europa Cup is made for such statements. I fully expect them to go on and win it now.
  13. like making him train alone extra early and blaming him for our poor form, when he had been one of the only players contributing anything? When playing Di Santo and Robers over and over again because they fit his "hoofball" style while Benni didn't?
  14. Laughable comments from Fat Sam. Is there seriously anyone on this board who would doubt even for a moment just how fast he would leave us in a ditch at the first opportunity? I really would love to see how he feels about "loyalty" when West Ham or Sunderland open their doors to him.
  15. If BFS sells him, he will deserve every goal he smashes in our net in a few week's time.
  16. Exactly. I really can't believe there are still people who want him out.
  17. I am fairly certain that this piece of new is a lie, but if it's not that Fat Sam can go stuff himself and never step foot inside Ewood Park again. Benni McCarthy has done a hell of a lot more for the club than Fat Sam. It really would be absolute scandalous if we lose the best striker at our club because of BFS. None the least because the two strikers he has brought in - Kalinic and Di Santo have scored 1 goal between them all season. Again, I very much believe/hope this is not true.
  18. Exactly. Either they have had some very deep falling out with BFS, or I don't know what's going on. Where exactly are we going to find another player with the sheer talent of Benni? let me guess - we won't replace him either.
  19. And the only thing missing would be footballing talent and any sort of contribution to our game? Something which the majority of fans have bemoaned almost every single game he has played for us? I don't know what Sam is seeing in training, but on the field (where it matters) it is crazy to believe Andrews is more useful than McCarthy.
  20. The manager has also had a long look at Keith Andrews and decided to play him in nearly every game so far...
  21. But he doesn't exactly decide to leave himself out, does he? And a poor-form Benni is still more useful than a poor-form Roberts or even Santa Cruz.
  22. Well, unless BFS has someone better than Benni McCarthy lined up (who that would be I have no idea), he better do everything to convince him to stay.
  23. When Di Santo leaves who else are we going to play besides McCarthy-Roberts in attack, with Kalinic easing his way in the team? We'd be hard pressed finding a better strike force with our finances, so let's not lose what we have.
  24. How anyone can question Benni after today is beyond me.
