  1. Again, a Championship failure vs a League One success. A deterrent for Championship sides for sure, will barely bother League One sides. League One is clearly his level. Not sure why you can't just concede this point.
  2. And Hedges plays on the right. Was an odd post.
  3. Like Portsmouth were when he notched 14 goals for them?
  4. League One teams are going to go off what he actually did already in League One though, not what he has been up to in the ressies.
  5. This article seems to imply that Mola can't be sent back by us under the conditions of the loan, and overtly states that Hirst can't, meaning we are reliant on the parent clubs recalling them. Those seem like bad terms to agree to unless the players are costing almost nothing. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23225349.george-hirst-update-blackburn-rovers-eye-attacking-move/
  6. He has already proven himself in League One. He has twice shown he doesn't have it yet at Championship level. Whichever way you meant this comment, I struggle to see why you say it with such confidence.
  7. Norwich hoping to appoint a new manager by this match. I've read that script before, doesn't end well for us.
  8. Breaks?? It might feel otherwise with the intensity of the schedule lately, but a week between matches isn't a 'break'. For me, Brereton is clearly in need of a rest, arguably one or two others too. I'd field a strong, but not full-strength side. Pears wouldn't be in it but probably will be.
  9. Thought Cardiff may have been targeting Garrett yesterday in much the same way. After he got his early booking, he came in for a few rough tackles...well, fouls. I was saying to my dad they're trying to get a rise out of him to tempt him into that second booking. But despite being 4 years younger than Buckley, he kept his cool.
  10. No he didn't, he looked pretty average.
  11. Well, we won't have the budget to do much of that, so loans and cheap gambits it is.
  12. Not sure about that. BBD would be considered goal-scoring by every other club in the league, but he's the one that fluffed the golden chances to win 3-0.
  13. Savage, Diouf, Neill, Lenihan, Hanley, Todd, off the top of my head. And Batty and Le Saux managed to fight with each other in Moscow. And this is just in my era.
  14. Haha anybody got footage of that incident?
  15. But you were talking about head injuries. You'd need to have brittle bone disease for that throw to cause any sort of injury.
  16. I don't think there is a like quota anymore, I suggested it to the admins and they changed it. It's either gone or a lot higher now, I haven't hit a limit since.
  17. Yeh, really beautiful when referees make mistakes. Bizarre sentiment. Who goes to games to watch the referee? I go to watch a game of football and want the outcome to be decided purely by events on the pitch by the players. When human cloning is perfected the first thing they should do is repeatedly clone Collina and have him ref every game. Barely any other ref is worth their salt.
  18. Come off it, a typical header would hurt your head more.
  19. Yep, wasn't the worst decision but that one wound me up a lot too.
  20. Preposterous decision. If it was within the laws of the game, then the laws need changing. That's no reason to go down to 10 men early into the second half and lose a player for 3 matches.
  21. I don't want him anywhere near the club, ever.
  22. In terms of where we are in the league, we are well ahead of where I thought we would be. In terms of creating a team identity and style that looks likely to bring long term success, we are way behind where I thought we would be. A death spiral feels imminent, if not already in progress.
