  1. Is that the only thing he says in the dressing room? He can't even get on the bench, nevermind the pitch.
  2. Reckon if we had an actual winger Nyambe wouldn't need to overlap so much, nor would his poor crossing be as exposed.
  3. Jesus Samuel! That's meat and bread for real strikers and you didnt even get a fucking shot off!
  4. Oh my, how surprised I am to see us 1-0 down inside 15 minutes. Yawn.
  5. It got pulled away from him. He was looking the dog's bollocks for a patch but couldn't break into the team for some bizarre reason. Now he is looking just bollocks and gets in no problem. Weird. You have to play players when they're in form. Maybe it would have just been a purple patch, maybe it would have been the catalyst, who knows now.
  6. Nah, I'm pretty confident we can sign 6 or so CMs and strikers to fill those roles.
  7. But his manager's office would be Waggot's office... if he goes in there he's more likely to end up firing his load than being fired.
  8. Thought it was clear as day first time around and fully expected the ref to give a free kick.
  9. You don't think Dack, Nyambe and Lenihan are pretty good?
  10. Commentators talking like we can still get something here. Like they've learnt nothing about our inability to come back from behind, let alone against the table toppers, 2 goals down, with 20 minutes left.
  11. Actually a good stop from Walton there, credit where it's due.
  12. Sorry but I'm gonna undercut you here. My knees are ok and I think I have my glass ankles under control. Can run for 5 minutes before I'm goosed and I'll do it for a tenth of his wages.
  13. Am I the only one who thought that was a clear foul on Travis?
  14. Let the punishment fit the crime. They've killed us in several games, so...
  15. I didn't say otherwise. I said he wasn't only brought on every fortnight like you suggested. And it's enough games for the Danny Graham of last year to have made more impact.
  16. I'm not 'terrified' of Leeds, I'm just aware of the season they've had and the league table. We just lost 2-0 to Barnsley. 'Eventually' is the key word. You don't start first time youngsters against the best side in your league fixture list. That sort of thing has to be built towards. The likes of Buckley, sure, throw him into a game like this. Not that I massively rate him, more that he has had chances to adjust to professional football now and needs to see what it's like to play the better sides and what is required.
  17. From having watched him and Armstrong this season, yes. He quite clearly hasn't been at the level of previous seasons. His finishing, touch and in particular pace all look clearly on the wane. No shame in that at his age. Still sharp mentally and capable of great link ups, but he is visibly struggling to match previous levels. He may not have played as much (33 league games though, so not only every fortnight), but he just hasn't been anywhere like his usual self when he has played. Can only judge on how he does when he plays. Meanwhile Armstrong is on fire and is the singular reason that after losing Dack we managed to keep dim playoff hopes alive instead of entering a relegation fight. That Plan A stuff doesnt work as well without Dack either. Those two have a great understanding.
  18. As an overall player, he is streets behind Arma at the moment. Football brain or no.
  19. I'm not sure if you understood my post. I know the season is over, I'm saying it won't be good for the youngsters' developments for them to get the absolute run around from Leeds in their first professional game.
  20. I'm aware, I'm saying the execution wasn't right.
  21. Miles behind Armstrong these days. Or did you mean the youth teamers?
  22. He probably won't then either. Didn't last season when we were the first team to mathematically have nothing to play for.
  23. Zero point blooding the youngsters against the top of the table team. They'll be too far out of their depth. After we piss this match away, start blooding them, I'll agree.
  24. Well he was quoting a 'mole', so I don't think it was speculation either. But you can't expect to be taken seriously if you then follow up by saying Mrs M has stopped making drizzle cake. Like I say, very odd post tbh. No offence simongarnerisgod.
  25. That's abysmal. We didn't even get into winning positions against these either. The other damning stat is the one about how infrequently we come back from a goal behind ourselves. Was the Bristol one the first time since Jan 2019 or something like that? Which I seem to remember was itself the first in a while. Makes you wonder how we can give away so many points from winning positions, seldom ever recover from losing positions, and still be near (ish) the playoffs. We must take a lot of leads.
