  1. If he think's he gets stick here, wait until he signs for a "city" club or the like. He won't know what's hit him.
  2. I've always thought the price should be the price and that's that. I bet we haven't even sold double figures since the price changed. I can sort of understand as a business decision at clubs that have supply and demand and can shift the seats regardless, but it's crazy to implement it here where there is no demand.
  3. Gestede has, he wants 2-3000 minutes from academy players this season.
  4. Sky Sports News saying nothing in Parkinson to us, he's happy there.
  5. Pre season will start somewhere around the 23rd-30th June. He wanted 90% of deals done by then.
  6. Ha. My guess is that if anyone was to sign permanently, they will only be two year deals with a "1 year option".
  7. Remember in just over 2 years time that every first team squad member will be out of contract.
  8. When is the next one of these? You would think they would be desperate for some good publicity before the next one, be it a signing or whatever but I don't think anyone cares. Good luck with Pasha/Gestede and co, if they even bother showing up. Can they get away with just sending Lynsey Talbot to field questions and then they will "get back to you"?
  9. Believe me, that is not an ITK account.
  10. I think that's most likely. Seen Rangers/Celtic mentioned too.
  11. Look at the Venkys v Indian government thread for the answers to this. There is no chance anything gets done soon, that french defender Elliot mentioned was just a smokescreen fed to him by the club to make it look like things are happening.
  12. At absolute best, someone like Sunderland might take a punt on him as a squad player with him being cheap, and then they have a ready made championship for there probable relegation in 12 months.
  13. We can afford to replace them, we just choose not to.
  14. I think Travis especially they will be keen to get out of the door, and then make something up that he doesn't fit in our "new system" or something.
  15. Criminal that we have allowed ourselves again to get to the stage where our two most influential players are out of contract in 12 months time with not even a hint of talks, but not surprising at all.
  16. Worst account on Twitter. Just makes up a load of names and pretends we are "interested". Not a clue him.
  17. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25193971.blackburn-rovers-uncertainty-derby-county-lurk-duo/ As predicted. And folk actually think they can get Brittain to sign a new deal or get this lad from Montpellier signed up?! Do me a favour, these pair should have been the easiest deals they do this summer.
  18. I think Wood and Stritch have probably kept around as a couple of cheap "old heads" for the 21s to just pad out the squad no? Really can't see it as much more than that and I love a good conspiracy theory.
  19. Possible relegation clause, that's the only way I imagine we could look at something like this. I still expect Elliot to pen an article in mid June though saying that talks have "stalled". Like said earlier, smokescreen.
  20. Definitely a typo there. It "hasn't" developed past initial inquiry is what it should say. Be amazed if they get this bloke over the line. Another smokescreen is my guess to make it look like things are happening.
  21. It'll be 1600 pages by the time this lot getting anything over the line.
  22. We don't offer competitive salaries when they go pro. Although not academy, look at Dolan. A pro deal when he signed, an improved deal 6 months later and then nothing for 4 years.
  23. It doesn't end, at least for the foreseeable. Depending what happens with Brittain, Travis, Tronstad etc we might have one more competitive year at this level. After that I imagine we'll go down and have stability in the 3rd tier for a few years, without ever finishing in the top 6, then by the time we're into the 2030's we'll be looking at the bottom end of the 3rd tier or possibly even be in the 4th tier. All while the court case still rumbles on, fanbase dwindles even more, and folk asking "what do they get out of this?".
  24. I'd be very surprised if they offer Brittain a deal that's worth signing. When was the last time we managed to get somebody to sign a new contract who was entering there final year? Just doesn't happen here.
