  1. He reckons two of them are still Kapaudi and Baradji. If they sell him on for a profit next summer, how is it a pointless signing?
  2. Always worked before. Popular games like Wrexham, just start it at ST holders + X away games depending when it falls in the season. Over complicated nonsense.
  3. You could argue that De Neve is Dolan's replacement as things stand, as all they have done is put him on the left and shift Hedges who previously played onto the right.
  4. I don't think they know. Just make it up as they go along. Loyalty point system is completely pointless here, one game a season at best is there demand for any loyalty points before they go on general sale. Usually if Dingles are in the same league as us, this year I suppose Wrexham might need it.
  5. League one was the original berth of the 1875 club wasn't it due to some small allocations? From memory there was only Fleetwood that actually ended up needing it! Then I think it got canned for a few years until we appeared in the same league as those lot so they decided to cash in on the FOMO as you rightly say. What an operation this club is.
  6. This is it for me, the 1875 membership would have been perfect for this. Pay a £30 yearly fee or whatever and get x amount off each ticket you buy over the season, can charge the away fans what they want then. As we have known long before now, nobody is interested in growing the fanbase here. We're a huge inconvenience to them.
  7. Best way at looking at this transfer window so far is, has our first 11 improved on last season? Is McLoughlin better than Batth? Is De Neve better than Dolan? They are so far the only changes to our "best 11" that finished last season. The answer to me is pretty clear.
  8. Follows the same pattern as every window in recent times. Nobody has been bought that's any better than what we have and to impact the first 11. Just squad fillers & downgrades. McLoughlin might be better than Wharton, although I think they will end up being very similar.
  9. I think things will be fairly quiet now until the last week or so of the window, apart from links to outgoing players.
  10. They did state that it wouldn't be ready for the Everton game to be fair when the ticket details were released. All about getting it done for August 16th, of course whether they will is anyone's guess.
  11. Yep and the reserves will be at home.
  12. He's a right winger or wing back. Never played at CB or either full back position. Plus he's out for 3 months. This is why I'm doubting the credibility of the whole story.
  13. Same article is saying that we want Issiah Jones from Luton as his replacement. He's out for 3 months with a stress fracture in his back.
  14. Convinced that Tavares & Baradji would be/are Tronstad and Travis replacements, with Forshaw, Buckley and Montgomery in reserve.
  15. Being the saddo that I am I did a little exercise on the ticket map back on June 10th. There was 9004 available seats to buy on that date. Last Friday I looked again, and there was 8681 available, which would indicate only 323 shifted in the past 5/6 weeks.
  16. They didn't ruin Duff. He was a key player for them in two title winning seasons.
  17. Depends how you want to set up your "all time Rovers" lineup. If you just want the best players in there, I think Bellamy is very close if not in it. A fantastic player who had everything. If you're trying to set up what you think would be the best "team" then Chris Sutton probably goes in alongside Shearer, although Newell worked superbly with him too, and I think Santa Cruz and Shearer would have worked great together as well. Shearer was obviously the best either way, but during his time here and at Newcastle, I think he worked best with a "target man" style forward, Newell, Sutton, Ferdinand, Ferguson etc.
  18. I don't think we'll see a play off push this season, but if Brittain, Travis & Tronstad are here past September 1st then I'm pretty comfortable that we won't be dragged into any danger either. I think as thing stand we'll finish somewhere between 12th & 18th.
  19. My main memory of Derek Williams was putting a header wide from a yard out away at Bristol Rovers back in 2018. A really poor to average player. Shows you the quality we had in the side in the 16-17 season when he won player of the year!
  20. It doesn't matter if Tyjon plays 4 games or 40 games, he won't be signing a new contract here, because nobody does. As proven for the past 19/20 months.

  22. Nobody knows. Not even sure he does. He is tying himself in knots about it over on Bluesky.
  23. Could be something to do with the last time we tried to play there https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/19136740 Called off because of fan trouble.
  24. Final friendly confirmed https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/july/21/rovers-go-dutch-for-final-friendly/ No Rovers fans allowed!
  25. Haha good one! As we have seen numerous times over the past few years, if that is on the cards then somebody, somewhere will see that it doesn't happen.
