  1. Season tickets back on sale this morning with the price hike. Club reckons they have sold over 8k, looking at the seat map it doesn't look anywhere near that. They have killed the Blackburn End, loads of good empty seats that would have been snapped up usually, looks to be around 50% full. Sad times.
  2. I might be wrong, but isn't the one in August a different case to this and still scheduled?
  3. I'm amazed about that really, I thought they would trigger him and Vale just to have bodies around for pre season before shipping them both out again. The retained list seems a bit more ruthless than usual, which I am a fan of. I'm glad we are getting no return on him, pointless at this club. I'm not a huge fan of Hedges, but he's a much better option that Markanday.
  4. At best (for him) he's here to sit on the bench when Pears moves on. If Pears stay, then I imagine he's just here to travel with the 1st teams as the 3rd choice keeper. Michelski shouldn't be used for that role at his age as it will stunt his development, he needs a season playing every week where it's for our under 21's or if he can get a National League/League 2 loan somewhere and play.
  5. Hedges Ohashi and Kargbo as our regular front 3 doesn't inspire me too much, although I do think Ohashi has done well.
  6. He's nowhere near good enough, but I don't think that really matters here. The only thought is "are they cheap?" If the answer is yes, then that will do.
  7. I imagine his option will be triggered, just because it's the easy option for now.
  8. Markanday will be one of them. The other a prem academy loan like ACD is my guess.
  9. Cheap and easy. That's the only goal here.
  10. Personally, I don't think they even bothered trying to negotiate an extension. This just kicks the can down the road for another year, and is much easier. Hedges definitely leaves for nothing next summer like the rest of them will.
  11. When was the last time we managed to tie down a player with a new contract who was entering there final year? It just doesn't happen here.
  12. This just isn't going to happen. We won't pay the wages that the likes of Trav, Tronstad, Hyam and Brittain deserve. My guess is that one might be sold this summer while the others walk out for nothing next summer.
  13. My thinking is that some prem team will take Pears to be 3rd choice in the summer and Barrett will be promoted to back up behind Toth. Cheap and cheerful.
  14. Buckley under contract until 2027, be one of the last out of the door, then it's just up to Val who is the only person contracted any later than that to turn the lights off on his way out.
  15. We currently have no first team players contracted past 2027, so no surprise there.
  16. It's only 1.5 weeks pay for any years worked over the age of 40, 1 weeks pay for anything before that. No idea how old Leslie is or the annual salary for that position so like you say guesswork with circumstances. Hopefully they have looked after her with an enhanced package but probably unlikely under this regime.
  17. Dunno about that. Statutory redundancy pay isn't great, and i can't imagine the club has gone above and beyond for anyone if made redundant.
  18. https://www.rovers.co.uk/club/job-vacancies/ Seems to be quite a few job vacancies on there, could point to a clue to anyone leaving?
  19. Off sale until 21st May. They need a week for "admin" apparently.
  20. Seems to be quite a few on twitter saying that some long standing employees, some with over 30 years service have been made redundant recently? Anyone know anything about that?!
  21. I wonder if they have bothered to try and tie down Tyjon yet? Probably a really low ball offer is my guess and he will leave next summer for minimal compensation.
  22. Just inflation. We paid 30k a week for a 35 year old Danny Murphy at this level back in 2012.
  23. Yeah, he's had two loan spells there. One in 22-23 and obviously this season too.
  24. Like Finneron last year, if Eze isn't announced now with the rest of them then I think its pretty safe to say he won't be staying.
  25. Took a while but Corry Evans has at least found his level now.
