  1. I think its clear nothing is happening on the transfer front to be honest.
  2. I would say they definitely pushed it, but i don't believe that venkys knew nothing of it.
  3. Yeah we played Hearts on the Saturday too. The Celtic one was arranged fairly last minute from memory.
  4. Ever since the relegation to league one in 2017, that alone has killed any ambition with a good portion of our fan base sadly.
  5. He hasn't got a scooby chaddy, he's probably just realised that the LET published a similar article back end of last week and thought he better put something similar out there.
  6. Yep all down to salary, if us and Sheffield Utd offered him the exact same deal i imagine he will have come here. Even an extra 5k a week the player will always go for the cash. I think the contract debacle here over the past 12/18 months shows that we are unable or unwilling to pay the going rate for anyone to come in and significantly improve us, it's all about hoping the kids step up so we can increase there wage ever so slightly over the next few years.
  7. I dont think anything will happen until at least after the Accy game to be honest.
  8. Seem quite a few on twitter suggesting that the plane was to get this Bosnian lad to Manchester Airport to get him on the blades plane to Portugal in time. Think we can rule this one out.
  9. Maybe, i don't know for definite, but the way it is recorded I assumed the count is done each evening. The deadline appeared to be June 30th at 5pm as it appeared @JHRovercouldnt renew later on in the evening. On that night there was 7680 bought, and 24 hours later there was a 297 spike which was the first day of the price rise.
  10. I find it amazing that nearly 350 people have bought since the price went up by £30.
  11. Yeah he got quite a bad injury fairly early on in the season, that's why we got Hughes and then Bent in. He scored in the final game of the season at Gillingham, then again on the opening day of the following season at Derby before leaving.
  12. That's my initial thought. Who can blame them either, 3 home wins they would have got and two of them were night games that a lot might have missed anyway.
  13. Had a quick look at the map this morning now the deadline has passed, doesn't look great.
  14. Go on then i'll say it, i bet the early part of the week nothing happens only to be told at the end of the week that "players were asking for too much money." "Well, we tried" the usual suspects on twitter will pipe up.
  15. See i would have found it strange had Mowbray not tried to play him anywhere but where he's best, was just so used to it. A real oddball of a manager. The opening day of next season with players playing where they are meant to is going to be a really strange event.
  16. We might get near the 9k depending how many have renewed before the deadline, i think it will end up being a lot closer to 8k though. Not a chance the tickets will be £20 for the first game, we might get £20 tickets for the midweek games like last season bu they will be the usual starting point of £25 for weekend games.
  17. We have had that same collapse 3 out of the last 4 seasons, did the same happen in the others too? Obviously last seasons was highlighted more because we were 2nd going to 8th rather than 7/8th going to 15th.
