I think Styles will eventually go the same way as Davies, Anel etc. Don't doubt there is interest but don't think the deal will be done. Moreton I don't know, could go either way obviously. Presume he is a clear step up from Wharton/Garrett or whats the point.

Now right back is sorted i would be happy with another 3 players of similar quality to Brittain. A CB, CM and a forward who can play all accross 4 positions ideally. More than happy to have the likes of Vale, Barnes, Garrett, Wharton etc padding out the squad.

Come on Henning can't be a maybe. Came back and helped lead us to a promotion, a cup win and a couple of campaigns in Europe. He was superb in his second stint. Dunny was hit and miss for sure, but his season in 09-10 was superb playing further forward off the striker. Anyway, i wouldn't take Poveda back, i'm sure there are better quality players out there we could get for that position.

JRC needs a loan for me. Maybe keep Brown as back up to Brittain.

I agree in theory although there are exceptions, Henning Berg, Colin Hendry, Chris Price, even David Dunn had a bit of an indian summer in 09-10.

Of course not, but you know that. Do you think Diaz himself will see a few grand a week here, or potentially x4/5 his wages somewhere else and think "I don't see how it matters, I'll stay here". He would want that regardless of having a kid, but now he is i imagine he would want to get a move sorted, a 4/5 year contract somewhere and settle down in time for the new arrival.

Venkys fulfilling a promise 😁 I do have to ask if you have been following us at all for the past 11 years.

We have never reinvested money before from player sales in venkys tenure, so i'm going to say no. The thing GB & JDT needs to do to get a fairly healthy budget is to fly to India and tell venkys how great they are for a few days.

Baby Diaz is due in January. I would think he will want a big fat contract from somewhere prior to this window ending and being settled somewhere on good money before the arrival in Jan. It won't be here.
