  1. Anyone received there season tickets today? For some reason they have sent mine but not my sons, why wouldn't they just put them in the same envelope?
  2. Not sure why we are changing the narrative that Mowbray was sacked. It's like saying Rothwell, Lenihan and Nyambe were all sacked.
  3. Not a criticism. I just think he will tell you everything you want to hear and you will come away satisfied with it. He's done the same to numerous others, some on here and one or two i know personally. Not to be trusted at all is my opinion.
  4. Of course they should be bothered. The last 12 years tells me they aren't though. Money clearly isn't an issue to them, so from the teams point of view i would rather keep Diaz than sell him because that money won't go back into the side, as been seen numerous times before.
  5. I have a feeling you will come out of this meeting as a huge Steve Waggott fan.
  6. I've give up caring whether Diaz is sold or not to be honest. If he is, none of it will be reinvested into the first team as it never is, and second venkys will just plug the gap themselves anyway. They clearly aren't bothered about players walking away for nothing as this summer has shown.
  7. Not really. It will put you above non members in the away tickets que though, but as said earlier in the thread its pretty rare that they dont go to general sale anyway. Think it was only Luton last season that didn't go to general sale.
  8. Yeah them ts and cs are well out of date. Take no notice of them.
  9. When the 1875 was introduced a few years ago you could get money off all home games. Now it's just the 4 category A games. If you are going to all 4 of them you would save a fiver overall. And like you say as a ST holder, there isn't really a benefit apart from being at the front of the que for a burnley ticket, which i'm guessing would go past that stage anyway. Does seem a bit pointless really.
  10. Surely nobody is paying £4m for Ben Davies. Still, if there is interest elsewhere then we wont stand a chance with our wage budget.
  11. If BBD is sold i would be amazed if any of it was available to buy Birmancevic. That sort of thing just doesn't happen here.
  12. Sharpe hinting that he will play more of a "second 11" tonight with an eye on Saturdays fixture against Celtic being our "marquee" freindly.
  13. Also i just don't understand the clamor to sell Diaz so we can spend the money on "2 or 3 players" At any other normal club i would completely agree that would be the way to go, but that has never happened under venkys ownership, and certainly won't happen if he was to be sold. That money would just go into the venkys black hole. To be honest we would be better off keeping him with the squad as it is. Venkys aren't bothered that he would walk away for nothing, they will just fund the difference themselves anyway.
  14. Nobody will be coming in while they are in Scotland. Season will have started before we make a signing.
  15. It's bizarre and i'm pretty sure its only being introduced like you say for people who area in fear of missing out on a Dingles away ticket.
  16. Yeah, but there will no doubt be a couple of offers as the season progresses. I'm sure the 1875 membership got you a few quid off all home games last time it was introduced despite what category they were. Say as a non ST holder you only wanted to go to the 4 home derby matches next season, it will cost you £115 with the membership (£25 each and £15 to join) or £120 if you just buy them normally. Hardly seems worth it for a fiver saving especially as one or two might be on TV anyway. Now if they offered say £5, £3 & £2 off each ticket depending on category then it probably would be worth getting.
  17. Out of interest, and i genuinely have no idea. has FFP changed over the past 4 years at all? If not, how could we spend £6/7m on Brereton and £5m on Gallagher the year after with only Raya going out, with similar match day takings as we get now, but we can't spend a similar amount this summer? Guessing we had a bigger wage bill then too with the likes of Mulgrew, Bennett, Evans, Graham etc on the books too. Hopefully someone can explain because it doesn't make any sense to me, or are we blaming the covid period of no income?
  18. I actually know Brian Jensen quite well, and believe it or not despite the name and striking resemblance, he is no relation at all! One of his boys has just signed for Everton this week.
  19. Unlike us who sold him to pay for Sam Gallagher, then got a last minute loan keeper in to take his place. Still, we're now going to "following the Brentford model" according to some 🙄
