  1. I wouldn't bet on it. They go to Portugal at the end of the week so i reckon that will rule out any signings until at least after the first game on July 9th.
  2. What a squad that was, great memories. Look at this bunch we have now, not a captain among them.
  3. I'm not sure it did help to be honest, after we had sold the half season tickets and the Blackburn End was virtually full, we only won 3 more games!
  4. It's an interesting thought. Would people prefer say a £30 a month DD scheme all year round for a seat instead of forking out £400 in one go in the summer? Think it's similar to what Hull offer.
  5. We need that just to try and stand still with the players we have already lost and likely to lose.
  6. We have enough players to bring in without trying to replace Dolan aswell. Keep, he might thrive under JDT, if not there is always next summer as he's got a few years left on his deal yet i think?
  7. Have to admit thats why we got them just for that one game. We thought there might be an outside chance of needing them for Bristol Rovers too but that ended up going to general sale.
  8. It was something they introduced to both ST holders and non ST holders back when we were in league one. As a ST holder it was meant to give you extra priority to away games and a load of other stuff. As a non ST holder you got a few quid off match day tickets etc and put you above standard non ST holders in the que for away tickets. (Not that it was ever needed apart from Fleetwood). I had it for a couple of seasons and realised it was a con as a ST holder. There should be something similar in place for non ST holders though to get them money off match day tickets etc.
  9. Yeah was just about to reply similar that it sounds like the old 1875 club. As for away tickets, it was only ever needed for the Fleetwood game.
  10. Why say we will sell more than our local rivals if you don't know how many they have sold?! We might do better than Wigan, but we won't be anywhere near the rest as they have all sold 12-13k already, because there tickets were affordable and sensible.
  11. Last year of his contract too, it's just not going to happen. They will look to cash in on him I think.
  12. If we somehow got to near 10k season ticket holders at these prices, in the current climate, at least it would put to bed who the biggest and best supported club in the region are outside the top flight.
  13. They were halves last season, do you mean its back to quarters this season or is still halves?
  14. Add my Mrs who is another fan of his. Showed her a brief video of him and she said "45, wow he looks younger than you". I'm not 40 yet 😐
  15. Only about 4 clubs in the entire football league with higher prices than ours according to that list.
  16. Save from a few months under Coyle, Mowbray has been the only first team manager Nyambe has had? You make it sound like he was playing for 10 years before Mowbray arrived 😉
  17. Any club that gave a damn would be knocking £100 off each adult season ticket from right now up until the opening game of the season, anyone who has already renewed to get there £100 back off next years ST at the same prices. Market the hell out if and see where it takes us. Instead they will still be spouting #oneofourown for the next 6 weeks at £430 a pop.
  18. I hope the sponsor on the actual kits is similar to the training wear, instead of a horrible black/blue box just stuck on there.
  19. Pretty sure i read in the article where he signed his new contract that he's still 4 or 5 months away from being fit.
  20. I will never, ever understand the folk who said they were "relieved" when Sam was sacked, or even some who said they stopped going while he was in charge. I personally loved his only full season in charge. A top half Premier league finish, a cup semi final, only losing 3 games at Ewood all season (none to the so called "big 4"), doubles over both Burnley and Bolton.
  21. Crowds were the highest they had been in 8 years under Sam, granted tickets were a bit cheaper. Main thing is though, we were regularly winning games at Ewood with him in charge.
  22. Don't they usually take them off sale for a bit now to process seat moves etc? So might be a week or two until we can see the seating map to see how many have sold.
