Yeah I feel the same about Williams, he started last season in good form too partnering Lenihan at the back. Williams is someone who can slot in for a few games here and there, but if he's your team every week at this level, then you wont be getting promoted.

Which stand has only gone up by £20? My seat has gone up by £80 in the Riverside this season. Do you honestly think that is an acceptable rise during a global pandemic with the biggest recession in decades upon us, in a town like Blackburn? They have also quietly dropped the free under 8's tickets in the family stand which I think is disgusting, a dad and a couple of kids that age have suddenly had £170 added to there bill In that stand. Is that acceptable in the current climate?

I still say that Hodgson's sides at the start of the 97 season was the best "pure football" I have seen from a Rovers side, followed by Souness's side of 02-03. It was as clear as day that Holtby would be best in that deep midfield role as soon as he joined, why Mowbray was messing around playing him everywhere but there is a mystery to me. @Paul Mani reckoned he wasn't a CM ? In all fairness though, earlier in this thread I said I was convinced that he wouldn't be here this season, I thought it was a strange deal at the start and he would be back in Germany by now. I do think he will leave after this season though, and that Mowbray has eyes on Buckley taking up this role as a regular next season, hopefully it comes off.

One of the best man managers out there was Kenny Dalglish. I think its a fair assumption that Waggott would do that, where has he shown any kind of business savvy here so far in regards to ticketing and increasing the fanbase? It's just rise after rise, with a stand shut here and there, with little emphasise on loyalty or getting more fans in, and more on what he can squeeze out the current hardcore. Do you think an £80 rise for a Riverside ST, in the middle of a pandemic, on the verge of the biggest recession in decades, in a town like Blackburn was particularly business savvy?

If I buy a season ticket and steam the rest of the games, it costs me £559 in cash. There is no way around that, cash that has left my bank account. I might get that back in "club credit" next season, but who knows what will have happened or will happen by the time next summer rolls around? The price will rise next season again to offset some of the refunds, Waggott isn't bothered about business suicide here, if he was I doubt the Riverside tickets would have gone up by £80 this season.
