  1. Don't worry, someone is paying 8 figures for him in this window.
  2. Gallagher Put in a shift today no doubt, also won the penalty with some good battling. He will never score goals at a regular level though, his anticipation, finishing and heading are up there with the worse Rovers strikers I have ever seen.
  3. I think it will set him up perfectly by the time he gets another game under Mowbray
  4. I'm still concerned that our back four on the opening day of next season will be Nyambe, Lenihan, Mulgrew & Williams. The exact same four as his first game at Burton nearly 3 years ago.
  5. If there is any system that Mowbray won't try with Dack out, it's that.
  6. Doesn't look as quick as the last time I saw him to be honest, but he did stay out wide hugging the touchline to give us another option, it's something the likes of Rothwell, Armstrong etc don't like doing.
  7. Surely the Lenihan to Sheffield Utd ship sailed a long time ago? He's nowhere near good enough to play the system they play.
  8. I do love a good stat, but I certainly don't base my opinion around them. I can see with my eyes that Sam Gallagher isn't good enough, and could play 90 minutes every game up front with a partner, for the rest of the season, and he still wouldn't be close to getting double figures.
  9. Apologies if someone is doing a proper preview for this, but I've just noticed on twitter that they have said there are 1400 tickets remaining for the upper tier before they can sell lower tier ones. There fans appear to be having a right good moan about it and are even on about boycotting over it because they want to be in the lower. The price is the same for both tiers. What an odd bunch.
  10. I always thought that ifollow isn't available for people in the UK, but if it is outside of Saturday 3-5pm blackout and on the sky red button, then you could purchase it on ifollow for a one off fee.
  11. Probably coincide with the next time we win 3 in a row, so probably March.
  12. Nothing else to really add to what has been said. I will touch on one thing though, the fact that we have, and I knew we would after the way we started against Wigan, entered yet another Mowbray horror run. Dack being out is a huge blow, he has been the heartbeat of the club for the past two years so of course we're going to miss him. Glad there is a break from league action on Sat, I dread to think what lineup and system we'll attempt to play when the nobbers role into town.
  13. Huddersfield hadn't beaten us at home for over 20 years before Sunday, means nothing. I'll be amazed if today isnt the most comfortable 90 minutes that Forest have all season, we have reverted back to type until probably March now when we'll probably win 3 in a row and everything will be rosy again.
  14. Pete O'Rourke from sky linking us to a Gillingham defender, think he's usually been quite reliable in the past for Rovers news.
  15. The name rings a bell, but we were stumped when we were told that we would actually have to pay a transfer fee for him. We don't buy defenders.
  16. Ref blew the final whistle before the clock got to 90 minutes, nobody bat an eyelid. Imagine the uproar if that happened now.
  17. 5 changes from the Hudds game. A meek 2-0 defeat. Hopefully Mowbray puts the scarf back on.
  18. I'm not sure who he supports, but I always thought that chicken celebration was all them years of resentment and bitterness coming out that he never made it here?
  19. I called it as soon as I saw the lethargic way we turned up against Wigan, this is the start of another classic Mowbray horror run.
  20. So, what's going on here? Rovers say he's injured, other speculation is that there is something going on behind the scenes to why he's not playing? Strange one, but if he was to go somewhere else or back to City, we'll have been well and truly had as didnt we pay a substantial loan fee for him?
  21. I think he means he saw them on the TV when we played Wigan, they were there because they are on Wigans staff.
  22. I do agree with your comments on Dack, he's unique in the way he plays that role. We certainly can't replace him like for like. Buckley and Holtby as wide midfielders who tuck in didnt really work on boxing day but needs to be worked on I guess, if thats the way he wants to play I feel like we need to commit to it with those players and see what happens.
  23. Nobody is spending "8 figures" on John Buckley in January, you don't have to be "ITK" or work in football to work that out.
  24. I know Armstrong gets some stick on here, but I genuinely think he's always a threat even when not playing well. I'm hoping we play him through the middle with a partner now Dack is out, I think he will score goals. The rest of that list though, I've seen enough of that lot to doubt they will get between them what Dack has already scored this season.
  25. Both could have easily have been lost too, but yes agree everything is in small margins. Let's see what happens, but I'd happily have a friendly wager that we wont win again until either QPR at home or Middlesbrough away in late Jan/early Feb. Yeah fair enough I get that the side has been built around Dack, but any manager worth there salt imo should have something in mind/place incase that sort of thing happens. I'd like to think one player will get a good run of games to step up in that role but we just know that it will be someone different every week leading to more disjointed performances, and everyone just shrugging there shoulders and accepting it.
