  1. Not quite. For instance, there are 9 midweek matches scheduled for next season which will all be televised. Also all opening day, final day, and 4 bank holiday (Boxing day, New Years day, Good Friday & Easter Monday) games will be televised which eats up another 6 games that will be shown. So that leaves at least 9 games to be moved from 31 weekends moved from the Saturday 3pm slot, which will obviously be a mixture of home and away games. Then obviously if you are at the top end of the table you will be shown way more than the guaranteed 24 times.
  2. Whilst I agree with everything you have said here, do you still think rovers will be in admin come 31st August?
  3. Just have to hope leeds go up next week now
  4. Being injured for 2 years is something to do with it I'm guessing. Lad isn't far off 22 and has played 1 senior game, needs to go and get his career going.
  5. That's what waggott has said remember, he's a known liar.
  6. Yeah but this way they can say a £450-579 ST is great value because those 4 games will be £35-42 each.
  7. Think your giving the club far too much credit. Imagine the spiel they can give if super clubs like Preston, Bolton, Burnley and Leeds are in our division.
  8. So your saying we spent £7m two years ago, and when someone quotes the prices back you say well we don't know because they were undisclosed. Good grief.
  9. Wouldn't surprise me if they wait an extra week to see if Leeds go up or not.
  10. Jackson has no more of a clue than anyone on here about what will happen this summer. Full of if's and maybes and total guess work.
  11. In other words whether Bolton come up or not.
  12. Ahh the "Indian Tax Law" excuse, conveniently forgotten about i see.
  13. You can still sign players though, as we did with Ennis in May last year.
  14. Waiting to see if Bolton go up.
  15. Doesn't really happen here though, even pre venkys. Think back to our big sales over the years and what happened to our side afterwards. Shearer - His last season finished 7th, following season finished 13th Duff - His last season finished 6th, following season finished 15th Bellamy - His last season finished 6th, following season finished 10th Bentley - His last season finished 7th, following season finished 15th Santa Cruz - His last season finished 15th, following season finished 10th Jones - His last season finished 15th, following season finished 19th and relegated Cairney & Gestede - Last season finished 9th, following season finished 15th Rhodes - His last season finished 15th, following season finished 22nd and relegated Armstrong - His last season finished 15th, following season finished 8th
  16. Wishful thinking unfortunately. I just don't see a time when we are ever free of this lot.
  17. The Coyle season was the only time in 30 odd years I haven't had a ST too. Genuinely thought someone was taking the piss then. Like a fool though I couldn't quite shake it and probably spent as much on match tickets that season instead.
  18. Do you mean Mowbray? Lambert was before Coyle.
  19. Dunno why he's not on that list but he at least did get one at home against Norwich.
  20. I do wonder if we have missed the boat with cheap ST'S. This time last year I think we could have sold thousands, more than preston anyway at £250-300. After the nonsense of this season, the appalling home record and sky plastering it everywhere they can that at least half of your games will be televised I think we would only just hit about where we are now to be honest if they were that price. Would be another one for the "shit fans; everything is the fans fault" brigade to lap up. As many have said, a rise is suicidal for the future fanbase of this club so that's exactly what I expect to happen, at best a £429 "price freeze".
  21. Depends when you bought, mine was £379 this season.
  22. Keep it open I say. I can't imagine we'll spend much time outside of the bottom 3 from August onwards.
  23. Sky have announced a new channel coming in August which is part of new EFL coverage. Every Championship club will be shown a minimum of 24 times a season over the next few years. 15 of those are accounted for with all opening day, last day, bank holiday and midweek matches being shown. No incentive at all to buy a ST at those prices next season.
  24. At least if they do go up it might make the fans groups who they have been "consulting" with for months about ST prices realise that they are just being taken for mugs by this lot.
  25. I'm not far from Stoke and have plenty of friends/work colleagues who support them. Most are glad to see the back of Campbell and say he's a complete waste of time and wasted potential. Had a few good games towards the end of this season as it's been known for a while that he would be leaving and he's in the shop window.
