  1. I think the key to this game will be Andy Johnson. If he is out injured (dead leg) I think we will win, if he plays I can see him nicking a goal and giving Palace a draw.
  2. Henry has scored 25 premiership goals this season, Blackburn Rovers have scored 28... I'm sure he will be missed if he doesnt play but lets remember that they do have quality throughout the squad as they demonstrated at Ewood with their second string.
  3. BBC website has it as their latest news on teh little ticker thing that runs across the screen.
  4. I have a sneaky feeling we might just get a result with our very own Dead Parrot scoring the winner...
  5. extra time then pens
  6. If anyone fancies a bit of a Cardiff MB meet up on Saturday morning I'll be up for it. I guess Wetherspoons will be open from about 10 am, not sure about the other pubs
  7. I'm heading down first thing Saturday morning. going to get into Cardiff for about 10.00 am for brekkie and then maybe a quick pint before the game.
  8. I'm optimistic about it, think we are tight at the back and could nick a goal. I certainly don't expect a drubbing, possibly 1-0 either way. They are poor at set pieces so as long as we can get the ball into the box (something MGP failed to do at Anfield) then we have a chance.
  9. I think it's quite clear Waggy. We would need to sell 20,000 tickets before we can start selling the other stand... we aren't going to sell 20,000 so therefore there will be no more cheap seats.
  10. sorry Stu, they offered me £45 or £55.... I went for the cheaper option
  11. Just tried that Waggy, I just had a call from the ticket office and was told that the only tickets they have left are the £45 ones. Just bought 5 of them.
  12. I got 6-1 on Betfair for the draw, pretty happy with that so I chucked a few quid on it. In hindsight I should have gone for a 0-0 as the odds would have been pretty impressive. Just need Everton to win now to make it a good weekend all round.
  13. Looks like the BBC know more than us, they quote that Arsenal V Rovers tickets are like 'Golddust'....... Ha Ha Ha
  14. Phil, I think the PDF below quite clearly shows how few cheap tickets are available. Don't think the club can be accused of hiding the facts when they have produced a leaflet showing how the tickets are divided. Ticket Leaflet
  15. It's not always one of the friendliest places Glenn. If there is going to be trouble in Cardiff it's usually at the Prince of Wales
  16. not if we get to the final it's not Hughesy
  17. So as the problems are between bristol and cardiff you could stay in a few places. Newport is obviously one option, Cymbran, Pontypool, Abergavenny and Hereford are all on the same line so wouldnt have to go through Bristol.
  18. 1 hour from Cardiff, on the train route and not via Bristol so I think the trains are ok. Group discount on the train means that it is only about £7 return from here if there are 4 or more of you. Here
  19. Lets hope WBA go down and then put in a cheeky bid for Earnshaw and Koumas. I think Earnshaw would be a good player to play alongside Stead, far better option than Bellamy.
  20. I'm sure there are flights from Blackpool and Manchester. Not sure if they are with ryanair or bmibaby. I'm sure people on here have flown before.
  21. We have been allocated just over 30,000 tickets for the semi, not quite sure how they expect to get 30,000 people actually to Cardiff by that time. Nice and easy for me.......... which is nice!!
  22. Beacuse other league games will be going on at the same time. They are not allowed to show a live saturday game that will interfere with the 3pm saturday kick offs.
  23. I keep singing the praises of Hereford. Its on the train route down, would be nice to see the city (yes it is a city!!) full of blue and white.
  24. I'm going to head straight out of Cardiff as soon as the game finishes, it will be an absolute nightmare there. I know when we played there in 2001 a lot of people stayed in Bristol, Newport, Abergavenny and places like that. Hereford is only 1 hour away and is on the Manchester line so might be an option for some people. (I can always put people up in Hereford )
  25. woohoo, only 60 mins on the train for me. I won't need a hotel as I should be able to catch the last train back to Hereford after the game.
