  1. If only HG had done that a few months earlier…
  2. Will take some doing to sell 1,500+ at the ‘un-loyal’ price of £430 to £530, largely to new fans as you won’t be selling many more to existing ST holders, from here. It will be a trickle from now on and we will finish with c8,500.
  3. Excellent, another poster that will come back telling us how we all ‘know nothing’ and waxing lyrical about Swag’s plans for ‘big positive changes’ 😒
  4. 1st July, so officially out of contract, but still no ‘Thanks for everything, Ryan’ Tweet from the club…
  5. Hang on wasn’t he saying the other week that GB will report into the owners on football matters, he will focus on the commercial side? But to be honest his latest comments sound about right, opaque structure with all these people involved the fans literally couldn’t pick out of a line up, loads of rungs on the reporting ladder, a convoluted sign off structure. Plus ça change, but it’s obviously just how the owners want it.
  6. I was watching Sky in the lunch break and Jos said how he’d just moved house down the road from Morgan. I’m presuming long time Middlesex and T20 gun for hire Eoin wasn’t living in Cheshire! Just reinforces what we already knew really that Buttler is a Lanky player in name only.
  7. I’ve talked about ‘churn’ before, but with over 2,000 existing ST holders looking like they haven’t renewed, 25% non renewal is a bloody high figure, so it’s a good job JDT has attracted a load of newbies to take up the slack to keep us pretty much level as a net figure.
  8. Really? He’d been a regular for Leeds for years and was one of the stars of their title winning side… and had some international caps, was in the England side at the Euros the summer before. It was a massive signing, real statement of intent.
  9. They’ve obviously changed their mind, *again*, and made a decision to not inconvenience those new ST holders, after saying that’s exactly what they would do - so on the flip side they have now upset long standing ST holders with often decades of sitting in a seat. Not a ‘claim your seat deadline’ if your seat has gone. End of the day, it was unavoidable that either new or renewing ST holders would be losing their seat with the club flip flopping over price and ending then reinstating claim your seat deadlines when all the seats were on open sale. Another in a long running series of ticketing debacles.
  10. Yep, probably c8.5k by the time they go off sale. Pretty much what us ‘know nothings’ on here have been saying for weeks. So we will scramble to what we finished last season with. And that’s with some good vibes re JDT. Thank Christ TM’s contract happened to run out in 2022 and not 2023 or sales would have been truly horrific. Two season in a row now we have had tickets ranging from £400 to £530, and both times we are hitting an 8.5k ceiling, and it took a charge to the automatics last season, JDT coming on board bringing a bit of momentum this time to even to get to that pitifully low number. Another total failure, and we are now a club that has, in the case of Blackpool, stayed par with, and has fallen thousands of ST holders behind Burnley, PNE and Bolton - imagine saying that the day this lot bought BRFC. At a functioning club, the CEO would be on a call with the owner this morning having to explain himself, or just clearing his desk. Here? 🤷‍♂️ ‘We did all we can’.
  11. We ‘thought big’ in many areas, a truly innovative club. Be it RR, RoverVision, the Blues Bar, club lounges, town centre shop and cafe and so on. We also had a network of supporters groups across the area. I could go on and on. Now, unlike the likes of Darwen FC and Clitheroe, we don’t even have a match day programme, and seemingly can’t keep the estate free of weeds. These owners don’t half throw in a lot of cash, and have such a ramshackle, small time operation to show for it.
  12. So they’ve lost two (and how many more?) long standing ST holders there due to their own incompetence. I honestly don’t know if there is a club out there so commercially inept. But still ‘things are much better’, so that’s a relief.
  13. I think that’s how they initially spun it, I.e if a non existing ST holder had bought your seat, they’d be turfed out and found somewhere else, but I don’t think that was actually the case. This is what happens when you farcically rip up your own policy in the middle of the sales period and try and reinstate a claim your seat deadline after other people have had chance to claim it! Complete shambles from day one.
  14. Not really, as you always ignore the root cause. The likes of TM and Swag only plod on year after year because the owners pay them handsomely to do so, end of. They only make a mess because of the owners, end of. But with you, you make out that the owners are at the mercy of rogue employees and they are as helpless as we are, merely spectators hiding behind a Pune sofa. It’s their negligence, it’s their mess, it’s their decimated ST base, it’s their rump of a club.
  15. Players are counting zeros on a contract when making a decision who to sign for, not counting how many FA Cups each side has…
  16. Of course it is, but if they repeatedly fail to do so, what should happen to them?
  17. TM only left because his contract happened to have run out, Swag, despite his colossal incompetence year after year, is still here. I think I know where the negligence at this club emanates from…
  18. Still waiting for an explanation to why potential new or returning fans have to pay more for the same product. Complete opposite to how every other business in the history of commerce tries to build a customer base…
  19. Err Ok. Thanks for that. But plenty of those will bring around 2k, some substantially more, so they will be set as Cat A games, so as a knock on, expensive and a barrier to attendance for our fans.
  20. STs are in the ball park of last seasons prices, so I imagine match tickets will follow. So £32-£36 Cat A for any game against a team expected to fetch 2,000+
