Difficult going that far as say two unexpected teams are up at the top in March and are playing each other, Sky would quite rightly want to show that (and as a neutral I’d like to watch it too, especially if we are also challenging!).

Believe they are giving more notice from next season. They wouldn’t ever decide the full season in advance and I understand that as they want to show the games that have something riding on them in the run in. But up to the new year, yes why not.

Same. Normally a warm night, full of the joys of a new season, loads of kids getting to go as it’s summer hols, get to see some promising academy grads. Jumpers for goalposts, marvellous.

A few lads I know from Rovers away games are at pretty much every England away match, I’ve never known them at a home England game.

I would think so, schedule filling whilst the PL hasn’t re-started. The EFL is still the same TV deal next season.

Still pretty active, they have organised meetings, awards nights, trips to Ewood to present awards etc.

No they’ve already chose them. Three relegated clubs plus Sunderland v Ipswich.

Depends where we are in the league, the top 2 pretty much running away with it meant they kept looking elsewhere for live games - and guess who were always in that top 6! Need to do a Coventry, stay under the radar and sneak in right at the end.

Far better atmosphere than Wembley England games I’ve read a fair bit this week… so think yourself lucky!

They really weren’t up to about twenty years ago. The disintegration of the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia into twenty odd states, plus giving status to the likes of Gibraltar has brought in a plethora of mostly average to poor teams now filling up groups whilst at the same time expanding the tournaments - as an example there were 8 teams at Euro 92, but 24 at Euro 2016, so of course it’s far easier to qualify.

As well as being a legend here! Yet yon mon is banging on about his media career… which part of his career might be a little bit more relevant to us Rovers fans do we reckon?
