The Trust have tried on a few occasions to be fair to them, but it usually falls on deaf ears, but yes it would be good to hear them on this… Whereas the FF, well I imagine half of them on there actually agree with him and it’s our shit fans to blame. I’ll never forget the time when they were actually advising him how to get away with ripping supporters off - they told him to call the match day surcharge (remember that, another Swag piss take) a ‘pre-match day discount’ instead, as if you bought your ticket before match day you’d get it at the standard price.

We got all this with Danny Graham too, thought they were going to retire his shirt number at one point - now I liked DG, but ‘club legend’, he ain’t. Suppose it shows how far we’ve fallen this past decade…

Bolton and PNE have come to our aid, because previously our fans would lap it up when the club stated reducing prices was a no-go ’Totally agree, no point we won’t sell anymore in this division anyway, load of glory hunters only want Prem’. Other local clubs have well and truly busted that myth.

We were in this exact situation last year and the club saw sense and extended the early bird, we then sold another 1,000 (from the FF minutes, July 2022). So with another hike instead this time we will do well to get close to another 1k from here, so unlikely we even sell 8,000.
