  1. Why? Because a club probably going into February sitting 4th has already ‘written the season off?’
  2. If it keeps them up when they are a year away from moving into a new stadium then it’s obviously going to solve a lot of problems in the medium term.
  3. Anything else you currently aren’t watching you could tell us about? EastEnders omnibus? Miss Marple?
  4. As you all know I generally think the commercial operation is bloody shite. But I’ve been in the Premier Suite twice on match days fairly recently and think it certainly stands up to a lot of clubs offerings.
  5. Come off it Joe 😁 Gallagher gets absolute dogs abuse on here (Gav aside, the president and only member of his fan club).
  6. I suppose in theory it’s only one season ‘pathway block’ with a loanee, not a permanent 27 year old on a three year deal… but of course another loanee will come in next season anyway. So in reality it’s loanee= cheap. Three year deal for an experienced player = not cheap.
  7. Me too. But I certainly don’t just parrot what ex players, managers, DofFs say on a forum instead of my own views. What’s the point of that on a fans message board?
  8. The club certainly will, be interesting to see what ST renewals are like though (especially at those prices).
  9. That’s not ‘throwing a load in’.
  10. Is TK better than when he joined?
  11. So not just ‘throwing a load in’ then…
  12. Three, four of them, in the Championship, really?
  13. Should we be throwing in a load of 17/18 year olds?
  14. ‘But, but Mark Atkins said’ is the new ‘he needs a run of games’
  15. ‘Mowbray didn’t play academy grads’, Another re-writing of history. Yes, we are glad he’s gone, but come on.
  16. So down they go without a whimper then. Be most enjoyable. Like your style, Masher. *Wink*.
  17. *Entry point £430 for any new/returning fans. Up to £530 in the Jack Walker. Dear do to watch this development football lark…
  18. They are going down without a change. There is obviously all manner of issues at that club that won’t be sorted overnight. However, a first team manager change right now could be the one short term measure that does make a difference. Total no brainer at this juncture. Good job you aren’t in charge of a business looking at an enormous drop in revenue whilst in the middle of building eye-wateringly expensive new infrastructure…
  19. Lose 4-0 but the opposition fluked it. Fantastic one eyed view, Exiled 😁
  20. Our problem is we don’t have the budget for ‘quality’ experienced players. *Quality* experienced players can be game changers in a promotion season. 91/92 - Mike Newell, bringing back Colin Hendry, Speedie, Cowans. 2000/01 Hignett, Mark Hughes, Berg, Brad, Berkovic. Modern day BRFC it is usually has beens like Bradley Johnson.
  21. Indeed Joey, outside the parachute clubs there is very little between the whole league - Luton and Millwall a fine example. So yes our players may be ‘bang average’ but so are the rest of the division’s…
  22. To be fair Ayala will only miss the cup tie (which he probably wouldn’t have started anyway).
  23. Two threads with smoke being continually blown up the collective arse of BFC. Too nice and accommodating for its own good this place, a bit like BRFC…
  24. Our next league fixture is in February, so not a million miles from the ‘business end of the season’ and we are currently sitting 4th. But an ITK-er believes that those at Ewood see this season as a ‘write off’. What a very strange football club.
