  1. If the club needs ‘an email’ from a fan to explain that if half STs are put on sale early and when the team is riding high they could well sell better, then things are in an even worse state commercially down there than we thought…
  2. Well looking at this article they went on sale on the 29th October last season, so presumably then they will be available from next week? With the team in a position that is surely enticing for a floating fan, it’s a no brainer (surely)… https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-half-season-ticket-22012663.amp
  3. Why, what’s he achieved at Championship level?
  4. Great career move from Critchley there…
  5. Why would JDT want his star player sold if charging to promotion in January? Venky’s seem very hard over on ‘value’, so I can’t see them giving the green light to a sale considering the fee can only reduce from here with just months left to run on it…
  6. Well if they wouldn’t sell him in the summer, or Rothwell last January, why would they sell him this coming January?
  7. Post the Christmas and new year period there is only around one night game a month (and none in January, re-arranged games notwithstanding). So if we can get through this mad pre-World Cup cramming in of matches in a decent position, then who knows…
  8. So that’s what you talked about!
  9. Ha of course, rigger! My point being, draws may make you walk off a game content enough, as ‘we didn’t get beat’, but they get you nowhere in the table.
  10. So? This season is showing that it’s all about wins.
  11. To be fair calling him a ‘League 2 Bellamy’ shows he is obviously warming to him, he wanted his leg broke the other week…
  12. To be fair, Nuttall forgot everybody after 1999…
  13. 11,500 home fans is fine for a night game on Sky when we only have 8,500 ST holders. Remember this time last season only around 9,000 home fans were attending night games. How do you get bigger crowds? You sell more STs, simple as that, always been how it works at this club. Indeed, substantially higher ST sales is the sole reason that PNE, Bolton are pulling 14-16k through their gates every week. And we know who is to blame for us not doing so…
  14. Got down to Ewood a bit early, Club Cash burning a hole in my pocket, so headed for the shop. To be met with a sea of grey and beige tat. Who on earth is in charge of purchasing?! They need to have a look at the likes of the Terrace Store and even Etsy et al. The present offering is real bargain bin stuff I would expect to see on a market stall. So shoddy.
  15. Weren’t they? Looking at 11v11 they had quite a few games between 2007 and 2013…
  16. I was talking to a Cardiff fan recently (I don’t work with him, though it was a work conference), and he has had to put up with three bubbles - Swansea, Millwall and Bristol City.
  17. I accept your view, but I disagree with it. Kind of the whole point of a forum…
  18. Debating like a 12 year old again, I see 🙄
  19. It was said with such certainty too. Grace Villa with his presence for a couple of seasons and then waltz into Anfield. 😁
  20. 1864’s mental gymnastics are something to behold these days. Strong stuff that tea…
  21. ‘My final year we threatened the play-offs’ Sure we were second in February…
  22. With them fetching a fair few I’d imagine an *announced* crowd of 14,500 or so.
  23. Standard modus operandi here, squeeze that core 8k for as much as possible…
  24. Indeed there is, and alas many of those are now well out of the habit and won’t be seen again. But there are also a hell of a lot that can’t/won’t pay £430 to £530 for second tier football.
  25. Around a quarter of ST holders bought 1875? With the only benefit being away priority… for a club that sells out an away game once in a blue moon? So a fantastically cynical cash in from the club preying on FOMO as that blue moon is on the horizon…
