Not this again, a few dozen idiots got on his back at Birmingham. Generally he was given terrific backing throughout his poor seasons by match going fans (of course there were grumbles, but that’s football crowds). Something we should be proud of, he’d have got far more stick at most other clubs.

Unfortunately it is the modern game. Football is not immune to the toxicity that social media has brought into society. SM has largely replaced giving someone a slating in the boozer etc. But in more more extreme form due to the anonymous nature of it. You can’t stop it, but you can hope that the match going support get behind said players - and they certainly do here.

No point, he’d only end up throwing his wide ranging agenda in the bin after a couple of sips of Swag’s special tea, just like that other fella did (you know the one that strutted about on here for a week beforehand)…

Football message boards have always been and will always be like this, so there’s no point worrying about it. But are they backed at games? Yes, and that’s all that matters.

The only reason it’s been a restricted allocation in recent years is because they couldn’t fit all the buses on the Darwen End car park. With it now being make your own way, why wouldn’t they get the full end? They did last time it was non-bubble - the cup replay (Tugay last minute winner game).

Interesting how much JDT utilises the U21s for first team squad members, almost like a reserve team of old. TM certainly didn’t.

An owner who has owned a club for nearly thirty years has obviously appointed various types of manager with varying levels of experience over that time… so what’s your point?

Well as he’d be following in the footsteps of Woodgate, I suppose it ‘fits the mould’ of a highly risky appointment of a north easterner with no experience.

Indeed, think TM came out with the same cliche ridden stuff about 782 times in his tenure here, I stopped listening in about 2019. They must bore themselves after a while, nevermind the likes of Andy Bayes and Sharpe that must hear it three, four times a week, every week.
