  1. I believe not for this round of fixtures as it’s an ‘extra’ midweek due to the World Cup.
  2. Straight on general sale, so JR’s point stands about the club going back on their 1875 terms already. Obviously anybody that wants a ticket will get one, but that’s the case for pretty much every game anyway.
  3. Unless I’m reading it wrong is it not because Bradford are selling them directly and not sending any over? Not sure how logistically possible it is and/or if they would allow the away tickets to be sold in a tiered system?
  4. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/20657719.blackburn-rovers-make-permanent-darwen-end-switch-away-fans/ The comments… ‘great decision’, ‘brilliant’, ‘good idea by the club’. However, if the club had decided to keep them up there it would’ve been… ‘great decision’, ‘brilliant’, ‘good idea by the club’.
  5. Does the captain have an office too?
  6. ‘Marginal gains’ was Swag’s explanation. Him and Mogga must’ve been to a Dave Brailsford seminar.
  7. No you didn’t, you said yesterday that you didn’t raise any of the ticket ideas you had in the end.
  8. Glad you enjoyed it, but it is fairly obvious that all those issues you had planned to raise (the actual point of you organising it in the first place and you had some good ideas on ticketing etc), were kept in your pocket as you got quickly sidetracked by Charming Steve as he held court for an hour. Never mind, you won’t be the first or last that will happen to.
  9. Whoa, don’t give them ideas, NEVER post goal music!
  10. Why has number ‘6’ become the accepted holding midfielder number anyway in the tactics/boffins world? I’m sure number ‘4’ was always more for midfielders previously, with 6 being for centre halves? Or at least a bit of crossover between the two? Hoddle, Viera, Makelele, Zanetti, Gerrard (for England). Closer to home Sherwood, Cowans. #restorethe4
  11. I believe it’s because this is an extra round of midweek games they’ve had to shoehorn in due to the World Cup so it’s not part of Sky’s deal. Most other night matches will be.
  12. Yes, Sweet Caroline has been playing at US baseball games for a while, then it ended up over here in Rugby League… then the Euros and, well, now it’s everywhere!
  13. This round of midweeks aren’t on the Red Button.
  14. Ha! I thought it was you behind the designer sun gigs, but then I thought, ‘nah he won’t be slumming it in the Blackburn End’
  15. ‘Simply the Best’, obviously!
  16. 13k home fans today. 9,500 against this lot last August.
  17. The target must be both. End of.
  18. Twenty odd years I’ve been on here and I’ve heard some stuff. But this has to be up there with the ‘worst take’ I’ve ever read.
  19. You literally said their problems started when they signed Ronaldo!
  20. Lack of knowledge of the club’s history too. We’ve had support across large parts of what is modern day Lancs since day dot, but it’s just increased as the town has changed over the last 20 odd years.
  21. It’s not a new pitch, Sharpe literally states it in today’s article, ‘it’s 30 years old’.
  22. Sorry OEB, I’m totally lost to what point you are trying to make here. We need both, obviously. Someone that can amble down LBR, but also someone from Langho, from Ossy, from Chorley, from Clitheroe, from Preston. Wherever. It’s simply a fact that more and more of our fanbase lives outside the town. Ask around you at Ewood for proof of that. These aren’t all ‘Ribble Valley poshos’. It’s the modern world, people are far more transient, amplified here due to the rapid demographic change, but most clubs expect a lot of their support to be from outlying areas. We will get ‘further away from a full ground’ by NOT focusing on the wider fanbase. We no longer have sufficient support in the town itselfto get 15/20k in Ewood, just a demographic reality, and that’s fine, a Blue is a Blue.
  23. It’s not ‘going with a begging bowl to outer areas’, that’s simply where more and more of our fanbase lives as Blackburn has changed massively demographically over the past 25 years. Using my mates from school as an example, out of say a dozen close friends, *one* still lives in the town itself. The days of the vast majority of the crowd living in BB1/BB2 has long gone. The club *must* engage and continue to attract fans in these areas if it wants to survive, and these are normal people, by the way, not your bizarre view of a load of poshos living in country villages with gravel drives and 4x4s.
  24. Not sure how much of this plan to bring in player by the truckload on massive money is Cooper’s over the owner…
