Interesting they any of your group have bothered keeping their membership. Just don’t see the need now we are back in the Championship. There used to be an away ‘season ticket’ scheme, only a few hundred were in it but you’d be posted your ticket the day they came on sale. That is what 46 game-rs need, not another membership and cost to sign up to.

People have been asking that, so my group that I go away with, all ST holders, all had 1875 in League 1, none do now.
-
We had 2,000 members of 1875 last season, 2/3s of them being season ticket holders, a hangover from League 1 when there was a worry about missing out on away tickets. ST holders will now be dropping off the scheme. So only a few hundred non-ST holders will be members, which is extremely poor considering money off match tickets is supposed to be its main attraction. The only hope the club has to drive membership is when walk ons see the £40+ tickets for Leeds/Sheff Wed and I presume 1875 will be offering a big discount.

As a season ticket holder I’d be keeping hold of my £10. Unless you’re desperate to be part of these ‘exclusive events’

Course we do! Only country ever to win a football, rugby union and cricket World Cup. We are an elite nation in loads of women’s sports. We are only usually only behind giants like USA and China in the Olympic medal table. We have loads of top golfers, cyclists, swimmers, rowers and on it goes. More F1 world champions than any other nation. We are a fantastic sporting nation and the envy of many a similar sized nation, I would wager.

Of course, this thread is going to divert to general chat about transfers, players etc if nobody is imminent, that’s the ebb and flow of a message board. Otherwise may as well lock it between signings. It’s like some people have never read a transfer thread before this summer.

Has he? Still looking for a club according to articles from June...
-
Nixon obviously does have some contacts, a few friendly agents and coaches, you’d imagine. Of course, that doesn’t make him the all seeing, mole in every club he makes out he is.
-
Enjoyed watching him against the likes of Ipswich and Bolton, couldn’t find him against the better sides...
-
Why will there be an ‘inevitable overreaction’? I thought that it was half expected to be a loanee, I.e when Hanley was linked...
-
He just has. And I’ll mirror what he said (if that’s ok with you).
-
At Rovers matches?
-
Good for you. Still odd as f-ck.
-
Then get some FAC51 merchandise, don’t buy a bloody Man City shirt!
-
Supports Rangers himself, he’d jump at the chance. ’Drive him up there...’ etc.
-
Sorry... what? You’ll actually walk around in a Man City shirt?!
-
Plus Smallwood only has a season on his deal. Evans with two (and you would think a top end wage), so it would be a great bit of business to get him off the wage bill (with fee to boot) Shouldn’t have been signed up in the first place, of course, but we are where we are.
-
I bloody well hope so, or to end up in the third division will make their reign even more ridiculous.
-
Bloody hell wish I hadn’t posted it. I don’t see anybody beating Mowbray with any stick on this issue. Dack and Rothwell two excellent bargain English signings. Just an observation that we must have the most British/Irish squad by some way in the top two divisions. I thought it was merely an interesting aside, not something to ignite a Twitter style culture war.

? This summer?
-
We’ll see at the close of the window, let’s await these defenders, net spend of about £1.5 million thus far...
-
I’m looking at it the other way, if SG had signed, BB would still just be that lad at Forest who ran past Liam Feeney at the City Ground.
-
Why unlikely? What seems unlikely to me is buying an English £7million young 6 foot plus forward in the same summer of purchasing another English 6 foot plus forward for £5million. But maybe you’re right and that was the plan, it would’ve been some statement of intent for a club straight out of the third division, though odd priorities, no?
-
Because he wanted to sign him last summer but missed out. Ergo the Gallagher ‘pot’ for a young, English forward went on BB in the dying embers of the window. All in my humble, non ITK opinion, of course.

I do.
